To leave a bit more background information on ESL for the new players.
Probably good since we have had a lot of new players joining lately.

ESL is a platform that allows user to easily compete with each other.
It supports multiple ladders (1v1, 3v3, 5v5) and also organizes various tournaments and other competitions.
It adds a special set of rules when it comes to weapon restrictions to the matches plus adds it's own anti-cheat protection.

BlackShot was supported on ESL early after release. Sadly however it was removed from the support due to the community no longer being active on most of the ladders.

It would be great to see BlackShot back on the ESL ladders. Please, if you have five minutes to spare. Make an account and show some support. It can only push the game forward in a positive directions!

Just wondering, where does the major action happen at the moment? Last time I checked, I was unable to find any open room on the EU server. Are most of the competitive players playing on the Global servers or was it simply too late to find something on EU at late night? If there is global competition going on at Blackshot it shouldn't be a problem if there was a Global ESL cup, right? (i.e. NA vs. EU team). Might be a bit unfavorable cause of the different time zones, but the latency shouldn't be a thing?

Honestly, there is barely any activity on the European channel unfortunately. However there is usually around 3-4 full world channels at peak time.
Plus there is a few filled channels during the night on the Brazilian Server. Honestly, for me personally the latency isn't too much of an issue as long as the connection is stable and below 150-175 MS. The different time zones will be a bit of an issue I suppose. However I'm sure that it's possible to find a solution regarding two opposing teams.

Yes a lot of "ping" issues come from EU players with good ping trying to play against laggers from Brasil etc and if anyone wants to come tell me how hard it is for them look again at the new year event and ask the losing teams how they did vs brasil teams :D it would be nice to have some competitive stuff happen with blackshot but the way the game is dominated with high rank "pros" with so much cash now the only way is through ESL and 100% BP no special characters etc

Is there a real and official possibility that Blackshot can have a comeback on ESL ?

I'll just copy my comment form ESL forum.

"ESL is about fair play game.
BlackShot is not such game. Its best example of Pay To Win game. The more BSC you have, BSC weapons, special gears and characters for BSC, etc. then you are more OP and immortal.
    So:
If there will be rule " ONLY BP" then OK, why not, let's try it :)
If not... - there is nothing to talk about. Because it will not about skill and tactic but about BSC."

From what I remember from the past (2010 - when the number of players was much higher than now), was a problem with attendance at ESL. Not many players took part in it :/

I think even "BP only" will not help.  First of all the most used cheat should become detectable (again).  Not sure what is behind switching macro detection off, but if one guy will use macro with SCAR and the second will use AK47 without tactics then the battle will not be competitive.

I would like to play ESL weather it is "BP only" or "any weapon" or "partly restricted stuff".  But I would play only if macro will be detectable.

Twister, there is no need to play BP only.  If you take off the most OP guns/ stuff, the game will become good to play.
