New Server?

Hello, i was just wondering if there will be a new server where you cannot transfer your character but have to start from scratch. I would totally be up for it since most people are high lvl. Also it would be nice to have a fresh start and enjoy the game all over again, especially with a new owner. (hopefully a better experience opposed to the previous one) thnx

You can start fresh right now. What do the high levels have to do with you? If you're into the competitive side of the game, then level has nothing to do with it since you can get to 180 in no time whatsoever. Gear on the other hand should be your main priority and that'll be just as hard to get it on the new server than it'll be on the current one.

I don't see why you want a new server as opposed to our current one? You want a fresh start because people are higher level than you? Well they spent more time leveling than you, therefor they deserve to be higher level than you. And it'll happen on the new server as well unless you devote your time to constantly and mindlessly killing mobs.

You guys say the old players don't want to start on a new server because they are already geared, don't want to start over, don't want to lose all their hard work, and call them greedy. At the end of the day, most of the people that want to start a new server are no different than the old ones, because they don't want obstacles in their way, they want to be the obstacle in others way. Most of the ones suggesting a new server, really have no good reason, it's just for the sake of having the opportunity to be the best.

But yeah, I'd like to hear you out on your definition of enjoying the game all over again.

If the new server would start, that would mean you have always people at you level to do dungeons, dead fronts etc. Now it is hard to find somebody to do for example party dungeon in deadlands.

Second thing is that new player without uber pro gear could actually use pvp. I was leveling with my mate at Avalon last night. We both made new characters to start from beginning. And there was an other guy how was stealing our mobs and talking sh*t. So we killed him. And as we excepted he came with his main 200+ and kills us on 1 hit. Now you can't duel at open maps cause everyone have a 190 char to kill you.

Third thing is the economy. There wouldn't be an extremely good gears, people wouldn't buy dills from illegal sources, not that much op costumes and wings etc.

I could write even more reasons but i'm gonna be late at work ;)

I fully agree with the comment above.
New owner might bring new player base and who wants to start a new game with people who are over lvl 200? Fully geared.
New server means everyone building new gear which means money spent on shop which means revenue for the company.
Sure the game could be worked on to make it better like these infinite dungeons and other crap but I did read that they took some stuff off the shop because the items are Over Powered so it seems like they are at least doing SOMETHING which is a good start.

But anyways, I do see where you won't want a new server, I mean they allready lacking players. Butttt I still think a new server would bring more players to the game, start fresh and fix everything and do a better job not ruin the game to make more money and perm banning hacking. I'm sure if the old players saw a new server and a new owner they would give dekaron another shot.

Ether way I hope the game turns out for the better.
And I hope the new owner cares.

Enjoying the game all over again means playing with your guild mates in Draco desert and fighting other guilds as you try to lvl couple lvls a day because it was hard to lvl up. (One of the most fund memory I have of dekaron)
My understanding of a perfect dekaron is when lvling was very hard to do, where you can't get to lvl 180 in 2 days (well almost), where there's no infinite battle, where you had to walk to areas to lvl up instead of just doing infinite 24/7, where if u kill someone they had to walk all the way back, now those were the days, can still have that with a new server depending on the new owner and how they handle the game.

Some ppl just have peanut brains and dont get it at all lol wtf they will open new server if hardly 100 or less ppl online in our server atm and you know the cost of opening new server? If you wana start fresh go try out other dekaron pserver.

I see. Again, like the others, you think a new server will have a different system than our own.. Where leveling is a challenge, where IB doesn't exist, where growth blessing doesn't exist and everything is balanced.

What you're describing is a completely different game, one that isn't Dekaron anymore. Sorry to burst your bubble but no new server will bring that back for you unless it's a private one.

You both don't even know the extent of the game, yet, you went on to suggest a new server. Nice. Watch out for them level 200s though, I hear they're feisty.

Anyways, I know that it'll never happen, I was just curious as to why all these people were suggesting to open up a new server.
