Why is everyone so obsessed with papaya belt?

i mean i dont get why everyone is like oh papaya belt *.* i want papaya belt +.+
lets make some raw calculations
imagine a perfect stated 160/170+9 belt, it can have 2% melee, 3% dmg dec and 3% pk pvp from green options
a total of 8%
while papaya belt have 7% dmg dec and 2% pk pvp -> total of 9%
you tell me but papaya got 9% dmg OP
and i will tell you but its a lv1 item it will have crappy brands, while in a 160/170 belt if you get perfect brands there you can have brands like this 300 melee 30 str 30 heal

if you ask me, is papaya belt better than the other belts, i will probably say, yes it is, but the difference between them is not that huge, papaya belt is far from beeing super super OP is just a little superior compared to the other belts, but you are free to do what ever you want with your money :D

dont forget that 160/170 belt also got some abnormal ress, and def..
honestly they are almost the same shit, its a matter of self-preference

    Depends on the class from what I think. If Dragon K. is wearing it and you include the costume it's super OP. Look at Emp4thy he has the belt and costume and if he wears High class wedding good luck killing him.

    Even 1% ddr more ppl willing to spend all their dill for 1% ddr better lol thats the way ppl are in game. Its your choice so qq here cant change their point of view.

    For me I prefer papaya belt. I have 4 belts 2 171 with 3%DDR and 1 with 2% melee res , 2%DDR and also a wedding belt with decent brands. I tested it my self and so far I tank more with papaya belt. Ofcourse I have different set up when I use different belt but I prefer papaya belt and new costume combo.

    you don't count different damage resistances as total percentage though

    I thought if you had for example 10% ddr and 50% pk/pvp res it would be:

    1000 * 0,9 (ddr) = 900 * 0,5 (pk/pvp) = 450 
    instead of 1000 * 0,4 (ddr + pk/pvp) = 400

    This is what I've have tested. First combo is I have 68% PK(14% pk res buff excluded so I capped pk res after buff) res and 27% DDR. This combo tanks more in my character and as long as I have my buffs on highest I get crit was 9k+ doesn't go above 10k. Second combo was with 42% DDR and 48% pk res (14% pk res excluded and I don't capped pk res after buff). With this combo I was taking more damage and getting crit over 10k+. Again it all depends on the combo. Thats why some class doesn't really need DDR as long as they have enough pk res they should be tanking more damage. Pk res for me is better than DDR. Just my opinion and I base it all in my class. Again it could be different with other players. Btw first combo was with squama and 2nd was with perp.

    thats the thing pvp ress is allot stronger then ddr, its about half, so 10% ddr = 4-5% pk pvp ress.

    Kinda the reasson why squama makes you take less damage then if you would use perp, 

    the reasson why the papaya belt is more tanky then a perfect 171 belt is cause of the 2% Melee* damage reduction, witch is the lowest form of redductions.
    If it was 2% ddr instead then it would be equaly tanky as papaya.

    This is a belt everyones can have. Papaya Belt and armlet will not lose upgrade levels and are not destroyed from failed upgrades.

    you naps or what ? Event ends on august why the fk would you pay for this item ? Just farm like 1hour everyday u will get enough crystals to make the 1x item attleast +9 before event ends , it surprised me some OP kids in game have no idea how to upgrade this item or that crystals drop from mobs , but they think first to trow dil at a free item ... well dekaron community . This game is the land of item flippers , the ppl in this game are so dumb you can buy and resell stuff with same name nobody will notice or care .

    when i get perp i will have 50% pk res and 42% ddr sure more pk res the tankier but meh i like the setup i tank just as good as someone with high class weds and new costume
