Papaya/GMs,

Can we use Proxy Servers (WTF or Your Freedom)?

Its really complicate to play with high latency - 500/800 ms.

could you answer us please?

You can use proxy, that has nothing to do with deka.

Using proxy wont lower your ping, indeed it will most of times increase it, using a proxy is going to add another layer of complexity to your connection.

No proxy would be like:

You ---> 500 ms ---> Dekaron

With proxy

You ---> +proxy ping ---> 500ms ---> Dekaron

The Proxys Servers reduces the packet losses.

OFC, Im talking abbout PAYD SERVICES.

Example

Without proxy:

You ---> 500 ms ---> Dekaron (with packet losses)

With proxy

You ---> +proxy ping ---> 500ms ---> Dekaron (without packet losses)

You are assumption is wrong, it "may or may not", if you connection lose packets the proxy wont save you,

the proxies are not made to "make you connection stable" they are made to "hide your ip" or "be a wall between you and the server".

Anyway if you think a proxy is helping you, is up to you^^

Proxy is against the ToS :( Ask a GM better about that..
