prevention against cheater, hackers, smurfs, ...

Hi there,

I just would like to suggest a way to play the game fair, that means that we dont have to play agianst cheater, hackers or smurf accounts. We can do this by adding the "mobile verfication system".
That means you have to a mobile number to your account. people have to use a vaild phone number, we have to an verfication code to them. People can only create 1 account with 1 phonen number that means they cant creat an other account whit the same number. If people got banned the phone numbe got banned too that means they cant and not allowed to create an other account

what if you don't have a phone? And that means you cannot create an account which isn't the best idea to new players that want to play the game also some steam players wouldn't want waste their time

One thing I personnaly didn't think is that they could still create other acccounts with other phone numbers (by asking their family members, friends etc...).

And their should be something like a ban list in which their number will be added automatically, and anytime they use the same number the system automatically ban the user without any GM intervention.

Not a bad idea but this would be harsh for even non-hackers/cheaters and new players.

A better idea is to ban the IP from which the hack was used, ban the Product ID of Windows.

The stored IP is used to recognize previous banned ID’s but which are using a different computer from the same IP – if so, ban the new Product ID.

and you can get a better anti-cheat system instead of the crappy Korean MMO Gameguard, since Blackshot is a steam game now you can probably try VAC.

This is the same way Teamspeak ban works, it would take some work and coding but it's almost perfect. It’s probably possible to change the ID, but it will be far more harder for them to do that than to just get a new account. And if they’re still on the same IP and new ID won’t help them.

Bad idea that would also punish those who don't cheat who either don't have a mobile number or don't want to give out their mobile number.

Also just like with other online things that do this as suggested there's numerous ways around it that wouldn't prevent cheaters.

I'd suggest IP bans as a better solution then requiring a mobile number. Not sure if this would work but maybe try pbbans.com I know many other fps games use or used this for their anti-cheat in past fps games I played. VAC I don't think would work since not everyone uses Steam but those players that do use Steam caught hacking should be reported to them since I'm sure they'd get in trouble with Steam for using hacks in Blackshot threw Steam.

Also a different anti-cheat program then the same one that Blackshot SEA uses might be a good idea. Considering from what I hear from your recent GM's say on their stream that these hacking programs mainly made to be used in SEA can also be used for Global if said hack tools were no longer interchangeable to get passed the same anti-cheat we might see less hacking.

The recent blatant hacking is a problem that comes & goes somewhat quickly the bigger problem seems to be the more simpler hacks & cheat players use on a constant basis that isn't to hard to spot if you have prior experience dealing with hackers in fps games.

Macros are a big one such as turning a single shot weapon to rapid fire, although there's many more types of macros then just that type. In past fps games I played they were refered to as script binds most popular were movement scripts binding multiple movements to just a single key stroke making said player a lot harder to kill & I have indeed seen this being used by players. I believe I have also seen players using melee macros as well using "weapon switch + fire" in a single key stroke. Am sure there's plenty more out there players are using as well.

Aim Assist & No Recoil hacks I also believe are pretty wide spread as well. With many players doing so under the guise that they've been playing so long with a high rank & are so good cuz they are using BSC gear along with high rank tactics slots, BSC tactics & Specialized character that allow them to mimic said cheat.

Aimbots idk if I can say how prevalent they are compared to the other two just mentioned but have seen players blatantly using em set to get nothing but headshots or a large number of them compared to non-headshot kills. Again are different types & you can set an aimbot to shoot other areas of the body where hit boxes are for example the torso that is a lot less obvious then nothing but headshots. Which I do believe some do as well.

Wall hacks seem to be a problem too but more so cuz I believe some of the players using them are good hiding the fact they are. Have noticed some who aren't so good at disguising it that seem to have you dead to rights & always know where you are but also are some high rank players doing so under the guise of their high rank that they are that great.

Damage & HP hacks as well players that somehow take way more shots then normal that kill others in a lot less. Again under the guise of having BSC Armor & the extra HP gained. I mean you can only use med kits so often yet it's like they have an infinite amount of em to use if that was the case.

Sniper Rifle Cross hairs & or other sniper hacks. Oh yea we've seen this option in some of the versions of the game but can tell some of these amazingly good quick scope snipers are using sniper x-hair hacks & or along with no recoil, aim assist, aimbot so they can snipe people very easily. I mean come on have seen so many that you run into shoulder to shoulder & bam headshot with sniper rifle in a split second.

Speed & Lag hacks / exploits, have noticed many players using one or both of these I mean essential the same thing you just speed it up or slow it down or somehow mess with your connection, router whatever to lag. I mean come on players with pings lower then 10-20 are as choppy & skipping about worse then players with 100+ ping. Oh & the seemingly infinite speed kit players like eventually that runs out & you can't use it for so long yet move at the same high speed the entire time up & down stair or amazingly move right in front of you with out being seen to flan & kill you. The fact also that sometimes the server connection, latency & or tick rate aren't so good now & then that can leave questions as well cuz on occasion it's the server not the player that leveas you wondering why certain players are so choppy & laggy.

To add some one also mentioned ID ban I believe each computer has it's own individual ID, keycode, IP whatever it's called & players can be banned that way as well. I have known some in the past games where said player was such a problem that when every other type of ban wasn't working well enough they got what was termed them as a hard ban meaning the only way around it was a brand new CPU ID software like windows might have this as well now idk.

I'm sure there's so many more things people use then you can imagine it's so pathetic but I feel the key is stamping out the little things players are using to get the leg up advantage is just as important as the big problems that get patched quickly.
