Community needs answers, why we don´t get any? [Patch included]

So, I´ll just start this discussion to point out why we have such a leak of communication between community and all the people behind Blackshot.. I mostly want you guys to focus on this video made by a player who is fighting for the community since looong. It contains everything what I want to say and everything what many of us players want to know.
Why do we get traded like that?

Dont worry they took the opportunity to ban me as usual because you know GM power for life but thanks for the effort I have never had any support or help from any GM with all the years of video's that I made for blackshot I did these with my own money and own time to bring content to the community and to support the community but it always seems like we never get listened to and if we fight the system we just get silenced and banned the team that we have now is interesting and we will see how the game goes quote from a GM "see how the game is in a year" when I asked why rayne was not removed :D

With my post I'll try to be as objective as I can be towards some of the statements made by the creator of the video. Like he stated in the patch notes it was written that rayne was going to be "removed". However they hadn't written anything about refunding. Trigger and I were discussing this topic the night before release.

What you have got to understand is that Rayne is a massive moneymaker for Vertigo. Vertigo has to keep their game up-to-date in order to maintain their current player base and have new people join the game. With the removal of BP-Rayne in the shop Vertigo played it, in my opinion, extremely smart. To some extend I can understand the frustration of some. However I am happy that Rayne is no longer available for BP. This is a step in the right direction. Vertigo removed the easiest way to get an extremely powerful gear in the game. However at the same time they kept Rayne available via the Goldbox and the arctic package (which might be removed at a later point).

When taking a look at some of the previous characters that were released we can conclude that barely any of the Jessie and Pei skins are still seen in the game. Yes, Rayne is part of goldbox a which is cheaper. However the odds of acquiring rayne is much lower now compared to easily buying it with BP.

With this Vertigo still manages to earn an amount of money with Rayne, while we, in time should start seeing less players use rayne. This point does not take in consideration that some players have a very strong opinion against Rayne. However at the same time there is a "silent majority" which doesn't have that much of a problem with Rayne. That might also be something quite difficult to accept at first.

I find the accusation of Vertigo lying to us somewhat of a difficult point to answer. I honestly understand your frustration. However your interpreted that with the patch notes that Rayne would be removed. However keep in mind that others within the community also interpreted it differently. Many already assumed that the bp version of Rayne would be removed from the shop. Yes I agree that the formulations of the patch notes could've been done better. However I wouldn't go as accusing them for lying to us.

Currently I have no idea how the weapon testing is done. As a former member of the testing team it still saddens me that the voluntary testing team was disbanded.

On a person reply towards the creator: Honestly, for a long time I would've supported your statements in the video. Personally had many discussion with DSH-Benjermann about the topic leading in two forum accounts being banned. Afterwards I would only want to state how ignorant I was. As of recent I've started seeing things from a different perspective due to gaining more in-sight on game development / marketing. You presume that with your videos that you resemble "the community" however there is a much larger majority that gets home after school or work and just plays. They are actually enjoying the game instead of ranting on everything. When watching your videos it's always about your personal crusade against the GameMasters and Rayne. You argue with "the community" however does it truly resemble the opinion the community has or is it just to justify your statements without having any credibility what so ever?

In the last few patches the game, at least to me, has been moving in a great new direction. We seem to have a new team working on BlackShot who are much more willing to change things. However the community still wants to be nitpicking on everything that is negative. Vertigo is a company that has to pay their employees, server costs and further development of the game with the accompanied licensing costs. These things cost money. BlackShot will never be truly competitive again. There will always be cash weapons that are stronger than the free to play weapons. However it is possible now a days to sustain whilst playing BP-Only. CG805, M4SOPMOD, AK47 MAT are all extremely powerful BP weapons which everyone can use. It's possible to clutch a 1 v 5 with an M4SOPMOD.

A few days ago there was an initiative to bring back ESL to BlackShot. However it just saddens me to see that People like you only keep focussing on the negative points. While with your influence of your youtube channel you could make the push for ESL that we need. So many people pretend to be willing to do the right thing for the game. However simply supporting a very POSITIVE movement seems be too much of an effort.

Taking the words right out of my mouth / keyboard / fingers! Otherwise I surely would have written such a text, yet there is nothing more to say :)

In the end people like you HopesMaid are only good at nippicking each and everything that XY does.

Instead of trying to see also the good sides, you only hang onto your illusional piece of dream blackshot from the past - because yeah the past was always..... (Pun intended)

Yet, as Tragin stated, supporting a simple movement is to blantly hard for you - ESL movement even got set in motion by the GMs. ;)

I've been a DSH of this game under former SH RUSterrorist for over a year, I've spend dozen of hours writing improvement sheets & suggestions. And I will never understand the blant hate towards each and everything.

The funny thing is, I don't even think you are completly wrong about what you said. I'm not denien' that you also got your points, yet just throwing around random accusations and stating flaws isn't productive at all.

The rayne part was maybe a bit "sloppy" explained. Yet, it was just speculation. To be honest it could have been taken either way.

Guessing rayne gets a complete removal or simply the BP-version, as iLik4d suggested in his post -> Source

In this post VG-Muziq even stated that they'll check into the Arctic Package and try to remove Rayne from it.

So the bottom line is you blaming Vertigo for your own error of misunderstanding the patch note / interpretating it wrong.

You know what would help the game? People like you, this K3bein guy, fanta and all the ranting people starting to make proper and constructive suggestions instead of just ranting and hating.

That would actually be helpfull.

If you would have spend your 11+min on making a video on how to improve blackshot, you would have been such a help - but obviously you decided onto hate hate hate.

Also clearly to see is that your whole point of argumentation is totally based. Do you actually recognize that there is a company behind this game? Trying to actually make earning of it? Think a bit economiclly for an instance. Just as Tragin also stated.

What do you expect to change with it? It won't solve anything - people like you are the reason that the bound between GMs & the community gets thinner and thinner. The leak of communication is because of people like you just hating - nothing else. So why bother communicating when you rant about it anyways? And to be fair - I've never seen any constructive suggestion / post from...at all. Where is your post to get ESL back & support? Where were you when Muziq hosted a AMA on twitch with his brazilian colleague? Yeah right...

I've created it during my DSH-time.

It basiclly explains on how to do good and constructive suggestions - with ofc a lot of examples from real suggestions at that time. Just reading those examples shows how great those persons were / how much they actually cared.

My own opinion about the current changes is highly postive. I like how much effort Vertigo is showing to balance out the game, while containing a solid income for themself -> skins transition from the shop to the goldbox.

Also the constant release of strong BP-Wep such as Bren, AK Mat or the brand new BP-rifle is a huge statement, combined with the redicoulus amount of BP you earn through BP-Boost and the great achievement system.

I'm also completely happy with the support of the GM-Team. They are doing a great job, trying to help you asap & are making a bunch of events each day. Blackshot looks better than ever to me!

Support wise a lot has been done aswell! We got a brand new, ramped up shiny ticketsystem and an awesome live chat for money/billing issues - how great is that?!

And the Steam release is yet to come :-)

you know what I quit I actually give up trying all that I see here are ex GM's or friends of GM's doing everything they can to smooth over and cracks in the game you want to tell me how "we are removing rayne etc etc" is misinterpreted by me as meaning rayne will be removed I am pretty sure everything else in the very same list was removed from the game for now? I honestly am excited to see how fresh clear minded players coming into blackshot when you release on steam will see this game because now its just a tight group of forum warriors who will do anything to defend vertigo and the friends they have and please dont talk to me about "having fun" I have fun every day when as a disabled player I am forced to play at a disadvantage just because of somebody's wallet you talk about me focusing on the negatives then answer me this why do I make videos of every single patch advertising the new things in your game and buying/testing them out of my own pocket for the community to see with 0 help or support from vertigo who are "listening" to the community and supporting us with the best anti hack in gaming the truth of the matter is this YOU have turned somebody who was in love with the game and worked so hard to report/video hackers in the game to a player who now doesn't care I had no issue in the game until I started being treated like a pile of s**t by the same people who CHOOSE to be GM's and help the game move forward and on a final not about ESL look at the "top" clans in bs how many of them got involved with the new years tournament? and how many clans got a DQ from the very same event? so why would I support another event like this after the last one? First of all I most defininatly not a friend of the GameMasters. Most GameMasters seem to stay as far away from me as possible. As you stated the item was removed. You also stated that the other items were removed as well. However ALL of them were removed from the shop. I agree it could've been stated more clearly however going that mad on a point is complete ignorant of the positive thing that has happened.

Personally I have not interest in defending Vertigo constantly, however in a case like this I can only write what in my point of view is just. If you were to look up my previous forum accounts on the old forums you can clearly see a similar mindset to yours in most of my posts. However due to starting a game development study last September I started looking at this very differently. Honestly, the game truly is a lot of fun when you stop hating on everything. Just take a look at both Trigger and me.

Vertigo has done a lot to improve the situation for players that don't have such a big wallet. With the constant boosts it's very much viable to play without charging BSC. With the release of the CG805 Bren it has gotten much easier to compete, even against some of the stronger BSC weapons. There are many more BP weapons that were released the past few months that really stand a chance against BSC players. Playing with subzero is very much possible once you get used to the recoil pattern when hit. It is very much true that the paying will always have some advantage. However this gap has gotten MUCH smaller the past two patches.

Honestly, I very much applaud you for doing so. However sometimes the way you're bringing your points across can be seen as somewhat offensive. Once again I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm merely trying to state that there is much, much more to the picture then the things you're constantly bashing on.

I was a member of the testing team for 7 months. I quit due to finding that Vertigo didn't take our work serious enough. We weren't given the credibility that we deserved for the hours spend on trying to improve the game. This is still something that bothers me till date. GameMasters also have a strong disliking towards me due to various reasons. I honestly truly dislike the fact that discussion is almost completely dead on the forums. It is extremely hard to have a proper discussion on the forums without the posts being censured or even deleted. Which is something I find a shame. There was a DSH calling out my members for being macro users on a livestream. Honestly there have been a lot of unjust things done to a lot of players that actively participate in the game's development. However it is something that we as a community also have to move on from.

So, first of all just to make this clear. ESL is hosted by a third party. ESL is not just an event. It's a complete new way of competing with each other. Vertigo has no say what so ever in who's competing unless they have definite proof of someone cheating. ESL will play with very strict rules that will only allow BP weapons that can be acquired by any player in the game. Therefore it is the most balanced out platform that BlackShot will ever have a chance of having. Honestly I can completely understand the way GM's react to you. You're calling them out on everything they do. Even though they are volunteers who spend a life of their spare them supporting the users of the game.

Agreed, sometimes people are treated in an unjust manner. However with fact that they ban you for offensive language due to reasons seen in your videos is more than correct. You violate the terms of use. If you, in the future, would be able to bring across your point without breaking the terms of use you would have a much stronger point to argue with. However as long as you keep provoking the situation for the sake of it you won't get any where.

@MPVshot: As user/costumer you have always the right to complaint and ask for a better service. We never stop you of doing it but quite the opposite. We always ask your feedback that it's later discussed and forwarded on a weekly bases and here are some examples:

These are a few examples where you, and other community members, can have a active role in a positive way and make a difference.

But one thing that you are definitely lot allowed... is to insult other community members, either normal users or Blackshot Team members, and please don't blame the GM after for doing our job...

As far as I see it we both have the same goal and in this case, in my personnal opinion, you are "fighting" against the wrong people.

Thanks for the time you guys took to write about this topic.

Everything written here is right in many ways.. from different views and perspectives of course.

I'm just a normal player who likes Blackshot a lot, even yes, not everything can be perfect of course. It's a game with a huge community after all many players around the world (...)
It is hard work for the GameMasters, I respect that. Everyone does.

I quited bs about two years ago because it was impossible to play because of the 'aggressive' community back then.. (and them hackers..)
But came back because I missed it, the game itself.

The new patches really improved blackshot a lot, it's getting better and better.

But because of misunderstandings and vertigo trying to get more 'money' (let's say that straight) there are so many people complaining about no change in topics like Rayne (it just makes players without Rayne mad and rage quit the most time) and hackers like always.
Smart decision of vertigo, but is this really worth it? We don't know.

the most riddicoulus thing was removing the bugskins, even from the strages of the players and refunding them, jsut to add the bugskins a little bit later again. the person who decided to remove them should be in charge of the complete development of blackshot.

Well....

sounds bad. I cant open the Installer. Still give it a try some Months ago but same error. Looks like they still not fix anything. Thats sad. Also Steam release wont help. Thats the fact. Only thing is i hope via Steam the download isnt bugged as like from your Website.

at least you cant give a guy the support which wanna play your Game and have even problems with downloading it and after intallation. So who the fk else will give us the support ? Its always funny to see Game Provider and her Gm´s getting more and more incompetent.

Well at least you cared enough to make your video, I dont know you but look on the bright side - No one has the power to to turn YOU into anything, whatever YOU become is entirely up to YOU. You have the power over your own mind, no one else ;-)

Ps. To the rest of the participants on this thread, such great comments. I will be back to play after my school studies. I learned that playing this game is a mind set. If you just look at it as Fun and dont get to concerned about kd (51% ♡) or dying a lot etc. then playing is way more easily.

I (nearly) always laugh at the stuff that goes on in game + the thrill of the kill etc. its the only why to play it or just move on to something else ( good luck)

I even like Diabo! yeah i know? ♡
