Hello,
after downloading and installing the dekaron client and then
opening Dekaron the picture doesn't fit the entire window and is
stretched. It doesn't even go full screen and alot of it is off the
screen. I can't even click enter after clicking a server because its
severely cut off. Help please?

Look on the forum on how to fix the display with Dekaron or the thread about display issues. This tells the simple fix to get it working again

i only saw one thread about display issues and im not even sure if the resolution is the problem. It is a pain and confusing to look at a thread that leads you to another thread that leads to another thread and so on when you can just give a solution that's easy to understand and isn't so confusing because i'm sure this is a pretty big issue for a lot of people. I'ma see if it actually works yet before i post the solution. I have concluded that adjusting resolution was the problem and will post easy and quick solution soon. FYI, that resolution post was not a simple fix and was not specific.

Here is a quick and easy guide to adjusting your resolution. For this to work appropriately you need to know what resolution your monitor can support. For example my monitor can support 1366   768   64

Make sure the game is NOT running while editing this.

    1. Dekaron Online folder
    2. bin folder
    3. option.txt NOT optionEtc
    4. Drag file onto desktop and open.
    5. Look for display ( I use Notepad 2 and on mine it's line 24 )
    6. Input your resolution to what you want, as long as your monitor supports it.
    7. Click save.
    8. Drag file back into bin folder.

@xBlackMoonsx Part of the problem is with the way Papaya has these Forums working.  There have been several postings about this same problem, but they quickly scroll off Papaya's "Top 30" postings.

Now, to answer your problem, I'm guessing you'd prefer to play in Full Screen mode.  Go to the file on your computer where the game is downloaded to (file name is "Dekaron").  Click on "Dekaron" -> "Dekaron Online" -> "Bin" -> "Option"

In the Option file, you'll see a line titled "display".  There are numerous combinations that will work here (I believe).  The one I use is "1280  960  32". Replace the existing numbers with the ones I've noted. (Other players might know better combinations for better resolution.)

And on the line below "display" (titled "mode"), change the word "false" to "true".

Save the file, boot the game up as normal.  This should work for you with no problems.

@xBlackMoonsx  Were those settings useful for you (1280 960 32), or did you find better ones?  I've seen several different ones mentioned in the Forums, but those ones I mentioned are the only ones I've tried.

@xBlackmoonsx I was more curious about YOUR settings to see if I could do any better with mine.  Would you mind telling me which numbers you use?

    Thanks in advance!!

Did I "steal" your idea?  lol!  Those are the numbers my buddy gave me to try (even though he only plays Guild Wars).  Not sure if they're the best ones though, or if they're really very important.  (I understand the importance of the "1280 960", just not sure if "32" is any different than "16"...I can't see any difference.)

Is there a way to query my monitor for "best resolution" settings?

    @PappyPlay
I meant the step by step lol, I wrote that in another thread weeks before. no biggie was just BB's lol.
As far as the 16bit or 32bit color most people rather the 32bit. 16bit is fine for most people and most things, but a game with a lot of color and graphics will look better within the 32bit color. 32bit will give better shadows and transparencies where 16bit lacks that extra power.
As for your monitor, setting it to your native resolution is the BEST idea for best performance
