Mag Creeper

General

Asking in this section too, because there is no section for Quest help/etc.


I'm a 164 AK with a mix of +9 DN Ozer and Astra, all res. in the 800's+ and two 160+9 DN axes with 8% gems.


I need tips on how to kill a Mag Creeper for the main quest in Phantom land. Trying to do all the main quests (because I like quest lines) but this one is killing me in seconds!

Anyone have any advice???

    Usually some high lv ppl pass there going to 171 dg, ask for help 1-2 minutes and it's done.

    But if you want to kill by yourself, getting lv 165 to wear Immo bracelets would help a lot.
    Also you should use bounce defender/Taunt bash and protection sanctuary those skills give you mob/phy resistence.

    Thanks for the advice and offers. I finally got him myself just a while ago. Just ran in and out a lot to heal (had to fight off the Bison while out). Using insensibility seemed to help, but maybe that was my imagination. Plus I was finally able to upgrade to a full res set of Astra +9 DN - very happy with my purchase.

    I do have the bracelets, and just a bit more and I can wear them. As for Taunt bash, etc. I'm dual AK...no other points in any other combination. Probably not the best way to play, but I find Dual AK fun.

    I'm not sure what you meant with "Im a dual AK..", but every AK in game uses Dual + Shield or 2H + shield, if you are not using a shield atm go get one you wont be able do do PVE right if you are not using those defensive skills I cited before and also other buffs for atk and pk/pvp.

    Welcome to the club, where we need to buy 4 weapons for our char.

    PS: there is a second slot for wep where you should put the shield+sword/axe/mace and use "TAB" to switch between them.

    I tried the shield/axe thing for a bit, but I found I did better with just dual...died a lot in places trying S/A. I have been told by others in game that dual is much better/different now for PVE and PVP than it was back in the old Two Moons days (when I very briefly tried this game).

    I have a 117+9 DN Shield, but no 4th weapon...and I just don't seem to do well trying to fight with the S/A or S/S combo.

    Mainly use bounce/buffs and switch to  dual.

    You wont be able do do end-game dgs without mob ress buff from bounce, get used to it or maybe try another class...

    PS: you can use a lv1 shield/axe/sword you wont be doing dmg with shield, just using buffs for now..
