Disconnections

G'day boys n girls

So recently ( about 2 days ago ) I've been having this weird disconnection issue where I am not able to stay connected to the game for more than a minute, sometimes if I keep trying long enough, I am able to stay connected BUT if I switch to another channel, I'll go back to square 1. It takes me a couple of tries to be able to get to the point of where it won't disconnect me and I've never ever had this issue before.

Note : The disconnection is weird because it doesn't give me the disconnected from server message, but rather everyone stops moving, and I am not able to do anything until I close the client via task manager otherwise it'll just be open. Also note while my character shows that it's still logged on during the lag phase, I am able to open another client, after 5 minutes I am able to log on to that very same account and it's as if I had the same character logged in on 2 separate clients.

I was wondering if any of you guys had the same issue as I do and if any of you found a solution. So far I've tried restarting my router, restarting my PC, and resinstalling the game to no avail.

    Well if u just recently started to get these problems, be happy. It usually takes me 30mins to get from point a to b due that i dc when i change channel/go character screen/entering or exiting dksq maps and all other maps for that matter/server select. it all started to happen when we went over to papaya :)

    I Disconnect with all my chars straight to the log in when i hit connect. It then says to reconnect me it may take 5 mins... and wont let me log in... any ideas?

    Everyone-there is a post for this from papaya on the disconnecting when clicking "CONNECT" at char screen, please post concerns there so they can see more players having same issue to hopefully resolve. Please check it out on this forum (technical support) for some tips to try and what others are having. I too, also have the issue of clicking connect I get kicked to login all the time, or changing servers. my last reply from papaya said they think its a routing issue.

    As Alii031 said, there already exists a thread that covers "Disconnect" issues. Source of your problems is the same as ours: automatic filtering bot, poorly tuned, designed to kick out "illegal" connections. They spent a lot of time (and money probably) to perfectly program filters for every occasion that may occur, but are getting constantly "false-positive" cases. Once it is your home router hardware or software that gets filtered out, other time is your internet provider hosting protocols, next time blacklisting of your IP range and so on... They tried to lower the shields in order to include as many "legal" clients as possible, but then Chinese and Korean commercial spamming broke through (remember forum spams). Then they changed some other options and now we have more hackers than we had in the last 2 years. Optimizing is not easy and they will eventually come to solution Nexon implemented: human-machine hybrid or combination of filter bot and GMs... The only problem is that it is more expensive solution for them, but eventually they will resort to that (people tell me that they have similar problems with BlackShot).

    Same problem here disconnect from server its been 2days from now even i have good net connection and gaming laptop.. i hope they can fix this problem..
