Hello guys,so i want to know how work this defeat success rate,i talked with some guildies and friends and ea of em told me one diferent thing about how it works and for what,if any of u guys could explain me properly how it works ill be very happy,if possible ofc.Ty

That's an easy thing to explain, I guess. :p

Defeat succes rate defines how much damage people need to deal on you in order to "defeat" you.

Defeat will interupt a few skills these days, in the past there were more. If you get "defeated" you can't run away for example.

In order to defeat someone the defeat succes rate and the max hp are important.

Calculation is easy as well, it's normal %-calculation.

Ex 1

Hunter with 50k hp and 15% default "defeat succes rate"

50.000*15/100= 7.500 -> 7,5k dmg needed to defeat

Ex 2

AK with 50k hp and 10% default "defeat succes rate"

50.000*10/100= 5.000 -> 5k dmg needed to defeat

Ex 3

Ak with 50k hp, active "Insensibility" buff (+13%) and 10% default "defeat succes rate"

50.000*23/100= 11.500 -> 11,5k dmg needed to defeat

the default rates are (if I remember correctly):

Ak, Bagi, Hb 10%

Seg, Seque, VS 12%

Aloken 13%

CS, DW, Mage 14%

Hunter 15%

[correction requested in case I made a mistake]

Dragon Knight probably got 10% by default.

I liked the PS(i already watched both and its very good :D),and i also liked the reply.
well im an dragon knight on arae meister,my buff gives me 50% defeat success rate if im not wrong,and i also got 50k hp(full str),so in my case as many hp do i have more hard will be to kill me? or i missunderstood u?

I think I have used the wrong words.

"Defeat" is not killing or beating someone, it's just the word which is used in Dekaron. Let's consider it as knockback (not the actual Bagi knockback ofcourse).

Look at this video for example (should start at 1:12). Especially on the summoner teufel007 as he tries to escape and receives 21,7k dmg -> he can't run away anymore, that's what a "defeat" is.

Another example are stuns and sleeps, while you got these debuffs your defeat rate drops to 0%.

Not sure if that explains it to you though, just tell me. ;)
