Windows Cannot find "Blackshot.exe"

Hello,

So today, i tried logging onto blackshot and it said that there was a trojan (a virus that acts as something useful, almost like a disguise). windows defender automatically removed it and i was forced to restart my laptop. When i tried to login it said : Windows cannot find "blackshot.exe" and then another error came up: "client cant be run by user" . I have already uninstalled blackshot and re installed it, but the same thing happens again. What can i do now ?

Dear baran65,

The problem that you mention should be related with your Antivirus detecting some of the Blackshot files as false positives (normal files wrongfully detected as harmful).

We will forward this issue immediately to our developers team but in the meanwhile please try the following steps:

1- Perform a clean re installation with the latest client versions available to download on our website as you can see here:

2- After the re-instalation if complete, please add Blackshot to the exclusion list of your Antivirus as you can see here:

3- Run Blackshot as Admin (right click on the icon and select run as Admin);
