It's one of the best pets in game. It transfers 6% of the damage you receive to mana. Ofc it eats your MP rapidly, but use Anima Secret Remedy and fishes or frogs...
I don't know anything about "stacking", but the pet does exactly what it says: shaves off 6% of damage received and diverts it to MP. Example: without pet you receive 1000 dmg to your shield/HP, but with pet you receive 940 dmg to your shield/HP and 60 dmg to your MP.
P.S. I tested the pet and I vouch for the data presented!
My post was not intended to disagree of you but to complement.
As you stated it does exactly what it says, but lets take a look at what "stacking" means:
Assumes a char without any ddr or pk pvp, usually get hit by 50k crit or more in pvp.
Using this pumpkin pet you will receive 6% less damage: 50k * 0.94 = 47k (excellent)
Using deux pet(5%pkpvp) you will receive 5% less damage: 50k * 0.94 = 48k (worse o.O)
Now lets assume a geared player with 50% pkpvp and 30% ddr:
Applying the resistances: 50k * 0.50 * 0.70 = 17.500
Using this pumpkin pet: 50k * 0.50 * 0.70 * 0.94 = (17.500 * 0.94) = 16.450
Using deux pet: 50k * 0.45 * 0.70 = 15.750
Thats what stacking means, if you have a lot of ddr you will receive more adding more ddr than other stauts, if you have a lot of pkpvp you will receive more adding more pkpvp than other status.
PS: Multiplication is commutative: does not matter in which order you apply the resistances the result is the same.
