[GM] Dragon says goodbye

Hi guys,

Not many of you know me, but I'm [GM]Dragon. It's been short but sweet but now has come to say goodbye. Someone else is likely to take over this account so if you have been talking with me about anything they are likely to not be up to speed on anything.

To everyone having disconnection issues I was recently working with, I'd like to say that unfortunately, your issue is likely not to be resolved. At this time it is being diagnosed as client side error since other people here have logged into your account with no issue. Unfortunately, this means that it will be summarized that you have firewalls or anti-virus programs preventing you from connecting.

I've brought up possible VM issues sending false positives as DDOS attacks which disconnect your characters when logging to server but that has been disregarded as not likely.

So if you are having any disconnection issues logging into the server, switching channels, I would suggest ticketing telling them your specs and hoping for the best so they can look into other possible causes.

One thing that they can fix is that if they have sent you a "pet fix" in the past which prevented you from connecting to servers, it was because the pet fix sent a corrupted unique Ariel pet which prevented you from connecting. You can send a ticket to have that pet removed and a new one sent. This will allow that character to connect.

However, the initial dc issue which you had will not be fixed and you will still dc when changing channels

This is disastrous, you were our last hope. The only one that really read what we wrote. They think it's client sided, when I offered proof that it's not? They chose to ignore the issue and live with 25% players less. Well, time to turn on to other games... Someone pls call me if they change publisher, I am sick of it.

P.S. Population is probably down to 50% after Halloween event, because the trade is only 50% of what it used to be and that's is very reliable sign of decay... Without GMs like Dragon, even A19 won't help.

P.P.S. And regarding the pet issue: my perfectly working pet was deleted and I couldn't play for 3 weeks. Then compensation pet was sent to me, but all I could see is a mail sign with no mail. And that bug was repeated 2 times. So, no compensation for my pet after 2 months. And now we lost the only GM that really tried..

Its disappointing to hear this...really had high hopes the disconnection issues would be discovered. This issue excists and not just a floating thought that came out of nowhere, the ones having this issue did not have this before the transfer. I don't believe its a antivirus issue, for I don't even run one at all. I wish you well GM but I hope this isn't a beginning of the game coming to an end just yet. I really wish someone would commit to this problem and solve it. it would be much more pleasant for playing time and overall.
