Flash Sale Ends 6 Hours Early ?

Just wondering if there was some reason why the flash sale ended early ?

I left for dinner with about 9 hours left on the sale, was planning on buying some soon as i got back. I get back about 2 hours later and the item is gone ?

Just wondering if this is what we should expect from papaya ? A19 was promised, still not here. Flash sales end way before the timer end. Idk why a company that's trying keep this game alive would repeatedly not keep their word, end events early, just doesn't make sense to me.

I love this game, but i hate seeing the direction this game it going. But I want to say, this isn't a complaint, after all it saved me from spending $100+ for some dshop items. Just want to know if this is the normal way papaya runs things.

    @iMolly

    Did you check the time-zones? Event at CET (Central European Time) ends 6 hours earlier than at EST (Eastern Standard Time). I wonder did they fail with the shop or you presumed that it applies to a different time zone?

    Cant say if it ended early, when I discovered it was on sale it was almost gone^^.

    Anyway you know the answer of you question, just look back the 6 months of papaya, nevertheless, we still play the game and we know how badly it is going.

    Staff is going to review the end early issue on Monday. They might add back a 6hour flash addition if that seems to be the case.

    @MateaB1 I hadn't thought of that. But I did assume seeing as I'm on a computer, and papaya knows where my IP is coming from, the timer should be adjusted to each time zone.

    That's like beginner stuff, no matter where your home base is located/servers are, if I'm on your website, the time listed on the timer should be in my time zone. I wouldn't be bothered if they said it ends at such and such CET or whatever, but they didn't, they put a timer on it. There is not a reasonable reason I could think of to have a "TIMER" on something if its going to end before the timer hits zero. If your timer isn't going to be a real timer don't have one, just put a date and time, problem solved. Everyone should have had the same timer, if we had different timers in different time zones, then what good is the timer then ? Its fairly commonsense that a timer counts down to zero, not to how many hours off i am from their time zone, that literally doesn't make sense.

    @[DK]Gismo That's nice that it will be reviewed, but that really does no good for probably 60%+ of your player base as people normally work, not sure what a 6 hour sale is going to do for someone if their working for 8+ hours. Again, I'm happy it will be reviewed, but next time, put a time and date, or use a timer that counts down to zero (thats what a timer does), not whatever it is you had before, cause that wasn't a timer as described above.
