Event to make Dekaron popular...

So as title says I wonna give an idea for a new event when new patch become..

I hope other players and GM's join the discussion to say if idea sounds good.

There we go:

Participate in new event to record a video of new Action 19 19.5 and 20.

All join the event should be rewarded (something good not only argate box or seed of dreams maybe 30% tallie unique pet or something like this).

The videos should be Uploadet in YouTube or another video sharing said the most 3 or 5 viewed Videos should be rewarded as winners.

The idea is just to get Dekaron more popular and get some ppl enjoy the Dekaron world.

Ofc should be think more about specifications about this event but you got the idea.:)

We all need to do something about to get more ppl in this game we need more players to have more fun.

By reading the title i assume you mean "Event to make Dekaron more active" instead of popular. To make Dekaron more popular they should've introduce it to steam as @[DK]Gismo once mention if i remember correctly. I personally believe it's the best idea and if you want to make Dekaron more active you should bring events back which they had lot of player participation, events i mention at my previous posts (Corn, Football/Basketball, Dark Stalker DG etc).

Youtube's viewers counter is very unstable. You don't actually know when it's going to be refreshed so this method will not work.

To sum up, if you want to advertise Dekaron as a player and not as a company they are other methods instead of youtube, one of the most common methods now is Twitch/Ustream/Azubu.tv (live streaming) but i doubt Dekaron will get many viewers unless the streamer will make giveaways.

Only way for dekaron to get more active players is...

like u said, Steam.. best option so far is steam,

second is advertisments (ads) on google,youtube,gaming sites like MMosite etc etc ( also rly important ).

i hope they will advertise once we get a20..

and last of all is the huge problem of ( if we get more players )

what i mean by that is, more or less what will new players rate dekaron ?

if i was a new player i would rate it 3/10 since its so rediculusly p2w, expensive, time consuming.

if i was a new player and i wanted to engage in fun end game pk or pvps and someone told me,

you u must spend like 200 dollars on dshop for costume, inventory and unique pet, and u muust farm for about 1 year to quire all the rings, and make ya own items etc etc,, i would lose interesst, specialy since dekaron is SUPER repedetive with no useful events.

valuable easy aquireable items like mitera is abused by hackers so they lack value, just to hard for new players to get to the end game without spending way to mutch time and money =(...

as aways the spoke goes in diferent way.

seems no1 like the idea of this kind of event (no need to be rewared ppl with most views can be best videos or anything else)

Anyway I feel bad when I think how active ware the game before years when I was on DF was 30% to be in cuz all servers ware full... im not sure if ppl even play DF now :D

Its not like nobody likes the idea of video events. But making more videos does not attract new players since the only people looking at dekaron videos are the people that already play.

that is a huge issue, people dont know this game exists ...

and only way to make more people find it is thru gaming sites, adds, and a 3rd party platform like origin or steam.

dont get me wrong, im still making like 1-2 videos every month but yea, that doesent help mutch,

Sad I like this game I want it to still exist.

My hope is realy Devs have plans for this game to get new players at A20...
