Warrocks future?

Vertigo Games, what are your plans for Warrock?

Will you continue the trend Nexon have set of keeping the PAY2WIN players happy or do you plan on making changes to the game? Are you fully taking control of Warrock and have access to the code and the ability to make game changes? or will you be drip feed updates from DE and only interested in what you can sell us monthly like Nexon does now!

( i am a battle-group only player)

Day2day play needs some big changes. Unsure how much knowledge your team have of the game but i am hoping you have at least tested the game out and can see the faults that need fixing rather then thinking of the pound coins, after all reading the quotes from your main website i assume your not all about P2W and understand that a game should be fun and balanced about skill rather then an overpowered bought weapon.

Team balance - This is a must!  Really, this does need addressing. So many one sided games. Or the same players stacked up every single game day in day out. I would love the server to select teams, auto balance select map and people just play, no rejoining, no moaning just people playing with two even teams across every map the game has. Everyone playing together none of the bs we see in games where so many wont play against each other.

Do you as a game company think its right that long term, experienced players are in rooms with new accounts? We have a 41+ level option in game which is never used because the majority of players above this level would rather team stack, bash low levels and spawn point kill then play a competitive game against someone of there own experience and level.

Stop people rejoining teams. << this is a must and effects almost every single game, so many people enter a room and will then rejoin to the strongest team.

Bigger punishment for rage quitting players!!! Just like rejoining there are to many players who bale out and quit a game the moment they start to die or the game turns. Right now only exp and dina is not kept but there kd is. If you leave a room you should lose EVERYTHING making it a waist of time to quit a game.

Remove the stamina stick from every class! Its like playing against speed hackers with players always jacked up on stamina steaming around the map at 100% Stamina should be something you keep an eye on to use when needed, when under fire or needing to escape not to run, roll, roll, roll, bounce, run around a map all game.

Remove med sticks and bandages from every class and make the medic the only class who can heal themselves and team mates. (like it used to be) All this done by allowing everyone to heal was to create a Rambo type game play and further push away from the team-play element the game had. If i shoot you - you should bleed out or seek a medic or medic station. Not heal back to 100% your not a cat and should not have 9 lives. Just like the stamina it was away to keep the P2W pros happy!

Longer re-spawn time for helicopters and planes once shot down. Make the pilot fear being shot down during a game meaning they would have to keep distance and use cover or risk losing them. to many pros who hover over the enemy main base spawn point killing by spamming rockets without any worries.

Disable F2 chat.

Set classes per team. Why does every game descend to sniper vs sniper is it the 1 hit no skill look i can kill weapon? The weapon its self is not overpowered its the amount its used in anyone game. If only we could have set classes per team on a first come first pick basis. Its meant to be a team based game and having set classes would be so much better... bring back team work.

Never happen but remove the GPS and deathcam. << maybe why so many cheats in the past? people unable to play a hardcore shooter and to many players need hand holding with the game telling them where the enemy is and then supping a 1 hit kill weapon. The game was so much better pre GPS.

That is just for starters Vertigo Games I hope you able and want to make changes and not just here to be a server provider. Warrock had a really good active community before greedy Nexon took over. They milked the game with all these stupid sales without caring about game balance or how it would effect the game overall. Some items / updates should never have entered the game. Or by now should have been reduced in stats to bring game play back inline. Cannot keep selling the same weapons but a different color each month and not making any game changes. And this is shown by the massive player reduction in the time Nexon where in control.

Regarding team balance, I'd love for that feature that was teased years ago about room balancing. A past UI, though possibly not visible anymore, included a % of balance the teams had in the lobby. I don't know exactly how it would have impacted the game, whether the weaker team got an EXP/Dinar bonus or if the room wouldn't start until the teams were balanced, but anything would have been nice.

I also support punishing or restricting room rejoining in some manner. Sometimes there are legit reasons to rejoin a game like when there's a bug and you can't switch weapons, or if you remember the good ol' days you were invisible to other players (not sure it's a problem anymore on Peer2Server). But other times it is people who are trying to join the stacked side. So I don't think outright restricting rejoining is the way to go - although it'd be easy to force a 5 minute cooldown, just like if you got kicked from the room - but rather changing how players are assigned to a team. Though this approach can still be exploited, it's better than the current set up where the least populated team gets the next player and in the event of a tie (same number of players each team), the next player to join goes to Derbaran. If it can be set to go to the currently losing team, or if it can use the % balance mentioned in the previous paragraph to throw the high levels onto the weaker team, that'd be great.

As for rage quitting players, I think the no exp/dinar is enough. Like I mentioned there can be legit reasons to leave a game, perhaps something IRL came up and you're not actually rage quitting, but further punishment is unnecessary.

I agree on the notion of nerfing Stamina and Med Sticks. Stamina perhaps should be a 50% restoration, and Med a 10% restoration?

No comment on the mechanics of BG; I don't play the aerial maps.

The option to turn off F2 chat would be nice. But at the same time chat from dead teammates should be visible, which is in both CQC Explosives and AI. (Not sure if Deathmatch stops it on the short respawn cycles, never tested.) Right now you have to type in F2 when dead to let your live teammates read it.

I very much disagree with the classes per team restriction. As a BG Player, you already know how people are when you take the limited resources like a heli or a tank - the pros are going to kick you because they don't know how to play without vehicles. The same would be done if a pro wants to be an engineer or a sniper or a heavy trooper and cannot because their teammates are... The logical way for them to handle that is to kick the player of the class they want to try to take it themselves.

I'd rather the red dot go back to the rings on the minimap like in K2 days. Aerial GPS reveal though should stick around as it gives the losing team a chance to keep up in points, though I've never seen them come back for a win once they're that far behind.

Deathcam, I would prefer that to be removed completely, yes. My gripe with it is the difficulty of trying to type a message after you die "ns xyz" but you can't send it because the deathcam came up and erased the chat entry. So if the deathcam won't be removed, that part should be fixed. And if deathcam won't be removed, I'd like the additional benefit of being able to switch my camera back to my body - essentially turn on/off deathcam instantly by clicking anywhere on the screen.

    - Stamina Stick cant be reloaded like HPKit.
    - Stamina Stick got only 2 Ammos.
    - Stamina Stick restores 50% SP per use.
    Why should it be OP?

@muse01 You've seen me around the forums, though I joined shortly after beta. The game stagnated when Nexon was only able to implement sales sales sales and wouldn't push for DE to make the changes the community needed to stay active. The announcement of a new publisher invigorates the veterans who are hoping - but not too optimistically - that some changes will be made to the game to better it.

This game still have a future to look at! One thing is for sure, we still have the OG players around but we need to get some of the balancing and lag out of this game and I garantee this will be a very fun game that will attract new players!

I think i mostly agree with MrTerror and Linkinxero.

Allthough i more likely agree with Linkinxero. He seem to be having a more reasonable and reaslistic look onto things. Such as where he spoke about ''the rage quitting'' there indeed can be moments where someone has to quit for whatever reason. I do agree with losing your  Dinar/Exp and maybe even no updates on your achievements untill a game is finished.

I highly agree with the above quote. There sure need to be done something about it as in a small punishment  , such as waiting time and level restrictions. But i don't think you can take away the total freedom of the players. There are players that just love to play with their friends as well as their clans and such.
Also then again i am not sure about removing ''F2 chat'' . I mean i can understand and maybe it is a good idea. But then there should defenitely be a other good Chatting way to comunicate with your fellow players. People love to socialize, they also want people to be in their clans for example. Or whatever other reason they have to interact with one another.
-Because the only reason you'd probably want the F2 disabled is because of flaming / players snitch on you.

Of course i highly agree with anyone saying there should be less over-powered weapons or ''pay2win'' weapons and such.

Death cam and air reconization (GPS) may be removed from the game immediately in my opinion.

    ^ exactly this.

There are alot of things everyone of us (the players) will agree and disagree on about the changes to the game.

But the main question here is still. WHAT WILL PAPAYA PLAY DO TO WARROCK AND WHAT CAN WE EXPECT??

I think we need to hear from papaya play first about the changes and what they want to improve. We definetely deserve a good answer.

Untill then i don't think i will participate alot in the forum discussions about WarRock. I already gave up on the game a long time ago. So i can easily go without.
This can be such a lovely game. So please papaya play, listen to the players and make this game great again!
