Is there a way to use Spoilers in this Forum ? Its kinda the most important feature to shrink Huge Threads / Tutorials / Explanations etc.

Nexon Forum didnt had it.

    I think it's not possible. I've checked a lot of possibilities and nothing ...

    Thank you for your suggestion for a forum addition.

    We will see about implementing something like a spoiler system.
    Please let us know if you see anything else you want to see on the forums

    Quoting would be nice on the forums.
    We can do blockquotes and stuff, sure.

    But it would be nice to just be click "Reply" on a post and have the comment field highlighted with their post in blockquotes, and their name associated with it somewhere.

    It can otherwise get messy when a thread bursts in popularity and you want to comment on things a page or two back.

    Additionally, I'd love to not have to keep signing into the forums.

    I agree, a "quote system" would be nice to have in place may all change when forums are up and running correctly :-)

    One other thing I'd like to see is the title of a post within the page. Having the title in the webpage title, displayed in my browser's tab, is not enough in my opinion. All I can read is "Forum Spo" when I'm viewing this topic.

    Edit: As of May 30th, post titles are appearing at the top :) http://i.imgur.com/nShQqjr.png

    I actually just started to mess with my browser and uninstalled Classic Theme Restorer. I now see "Forum" in this thread. I'm trying to work on some Greasemonkey script to give me the title... Tricky though to get it just right.

    Edit: Finally came up with this as a solution:
    // ==UserScript==
    // @name        Title Float Left
    // @namespace   TFL-20170526
    // @description Puts the title in an absolute div/p so you know what thread you're viewing
    // @include     http://forum.papayaplay.com/*
    // @version     1
    // @grant       none
    // ==/UserScript==
    var x = document.title
    if (x){ // Without this, it runs twice. The main page (intended) and the comment editor (unintended); the comment editor has no title tag within its document
    //alert(x)
    var x = x.replace(/- Papaya Play Forum/,"")
    var innerDiv = document.createElement('div')
    innerDiv.style = "position:fixed;top:0px;left:0px;background-color:#CCC;font-size:16px;height:40px;max-width:400px;text-overflow:clip;overflow:hidden;"
    var myText = document.createElement('p')
    myText.innerHTML = x
    myText.style = "padding-top:12px;padding-left:5px;padding-right:5px;text-overflow:clip;overflow:hidden;"
    innerDiv.appendChild(myText)
    document.body.appendChild(innerDiv)
    }

    Because this is kind of the de facto forum improvement suggestion thread, I do want to advocate one thing here:

    Notifications. They are found on the page https://www.papayaplay.com/user/messages.do

    I've only so far received notifications for Dekaron and Blackshot maintenances. That's not something I need to be notified about as I don't play those games. I can see in the notifications that the game it's for is in a tag, so this suggestion shouldn't be too difficult to add.

    I would like the ability to automatically ignore/delete notifications from the games of our choosing. Or to look at it a different way, choose what game we "subscribe" to notifications for.

    With PP taking on 4 games, for a good portion of their total player base, if not the majority, they'll receive notifications from 3 games they don't play. That is potentially 75% of notifications they don't even want to see.

    ---

    I'd also like to not have to keep signing in so often to the forums (multiple times a day if I'm inactive too long). Not sure if it's a problem on my end or a built in feature of the forums/site. There is a "Remember ID" option you can select when signing in, but how about a "Keep me signed in"?

    The auto-logout that a lot of game publishers do seems to be to protect people from having their accounts misused by other persons. But that really only addresses the uncommon situation of, say, multiple players in the same household. You'd need access to the same computer to abuse it, and I can't imagine that happens all that often. A simple warning "We recommend automatic logout after X hours of inactivity so that other people using your computer do not access your account. Do you still wish to stay signed in indefinitely?" should suffice to convey that message.

    I agree with @linkinxero about the other game notifications. I see no use in notifying the people that do not play the game and spam us to check "as read" when it doesn't pertain to us at all. Good suggestion.

    Hi @linkinxero. I also agree. Why do I get notifications of games I don't even care about. By the way long time ago I read your name. ^^

    @MuziqVert Would be cool to see how many and which players are watching the War Rock Forum or who is watching a specific thread to see if you could get a quick response or you probably have to wait some time.

    For example: 1 GM (MuziqVert), 2 Members (linkinxero, yallentins) and 9 Guests are watching the War Rock Forum.
