[Guide] Is this a bug? Is it bannable?
Hello Troopers,
We recently had a couple of users asking if certain things are considered a bug and if we ban for such bugs.
I will update this thread with your guys questions, along with if we would ban for such an action.
Note: Not all things posted here are considered bugs
1. Walk leaning
Can result in a ban.
2. Invert lean
We do not ban for this.
3. Bunny hopping
We do not ban for this.
4. Speed-roll
We do not ban for this.
5. Planting a bomb outside of the normal area
We do not ban for this.
6. 360°or 180° "e" lean
Can result in a ban.
7. Glitching in walls to be able to see through them
Can result in a ban.
8. Using an emote so you can see around walls in 3rd person
We do not ban for this.
9. Bug using with a tank - sticking the turret of a tank through a wall and actively killing players
Accidents do happen, so if you can obtain video evidence of a player repeatedly doing it, we will review the video and they can get temporarily banned.
10. Using a motorbike to get on top of a building
We do not ban for this.

11. Using the ForceAdding bug
Can result in a ban, especially if you do it with the GameMasters.
You will not get permanently banned for such actions, however, you can end up getting temporarily banned. WarRock is not a bug free game. We do not ban users for many of the bugs in the game. We have deemed certain bugs to be bannable offenses (temporarily). We sometimes message users in-game while they are playing and warn them not to do certain bugs before we take action. (as sometimes things happen accidentally)

This is a guide updated by Nexon thought so they might change with Papaya Play!!

2. Invert lean
We do not ban for this. (if Walk Leaning is bannable so should this)
5. Planting a bomb outside of the normal area
We do not ban for this. (This should be bannable as you're either cheating or bug abusing to plant outside of said area...)

If we came up to a box in Khali and we wanted to Lean Right then they would see our head but these 'Invert Leaners' Lean Left which then results in us not being able to see 98% of there body..
Personally something needs to be done about it, it is a unfair advantage.

Ye i know its OP, doing it a lot while Sniping. But i guess it will be hard to Ban Players for it as long as everyone is doing it... its like "Part of a Normal Gameplay / Movement"

Yes it is buggy but who cares? I think bug abuser don't have such an impressive advantage of it!

As you can see in the video above, the third person view shows someone's face pressed against a wall or box. However, in the first person view, the camera is not positioned immediately in front of the wall or box.
That's all it would really take to fix the invert leaning exploits. Make it so when you lean, the camera is shifted more in that direction.
Alternatively, what used to be done in clan wars in the G1 days (by accident, though some of the community liked it) was no ability to shoot while leaning. You had to release Q/E before you can shoot. This would be the lazier way out and have more impact on the game, but it should be done if the camera issues cannot be sorted out.
As to the core of the topic, you can add in that Nexon would not ban you for jumping on things, such as jumping from the mine field into Derbaran base in Alberon, so long as you are not clipping through objects. However, I for one hope that Papaya would look at things that are not in the spirit of gameplay for the map - unidirectional or strongly biased benefit for one team and not the other.
