Questions for those who are transferring.

For those of you who have decided that you want to have a try at PapayaLT:

Which class(es) are you going to play? Are you willing to try something new or continue on with the same class you played for all those years? Why or why not?

In what way do you think Papaya should approach being the new host of this game?
  • What should be their main priority in running the server in an efficient manner?
  • In what ways do you think they should make changes in opposed to how OGPlanet operated?
How are you going to approach making this transition from mostly having everything you needed to starting from scratch?

What are you least/most excited about in starting afresh?

What "special perks and rewards" would be ideal after making the transfer?

What can we as players do to help get the community back to what it used to be?

    - I plan to simply go Demi / WS / Bard but stick to Demi mainly, even if I stuck with Rogue Master for some time, I liked the way Demi plays but I would try out any new classes that came out.

    - Papaya Play should try to hear the players, this is an important part of any company because it makes players feel that the company cares even if what they is not heard completely. They should also try to keep events frequently for players to have a way to either replenish some of their resources or to distract themselves from the grind.
    - The transition is not that bad, by just playing the game I should get to the point where I was, I would rather have fun than tire myself from going in too hard trying to get to Lvl. 200 in one go.

    - The worst part of starting up is... the codex... the stats are small at first but little by little they make a difference.

    - To be honest, anything that makes it easier to get up would be good, but as long as it's not as simple as what OGP would have offered I will be satisfied with whatever they give out.

    - The best way to keep the community friendly is to simply be friendly, drop that bad elitist way of playing there used to be in OGP and be more helpful towards newbies, one of them could become part of your main party for dungeons given the time and the opportunity but most importantly, they are people too, not a "burden" or a "waste of resources".

I wanted to answer all your questions in the order you put them and all of them just because :3

You're not going to answer your questions? They're good.

I think i'm going to continue to play sefirot just because I've played that class since I started Latale. There is a lot of drawbacks that are making me reconsider so I'm not entirely sure. I kinda want to see the spread of classes and base it on that.

In what way do you think Papaya should approach being the new host of this game?

I'm not sure how it should be run per say but I will say that they need to prioritise a few things. First there needs to be good connection and little lag; pretty self explanatory. Second they need to have regular events to keep the activity high. Lastly I think they need to make the game more appealing to the general population playing the game and not just the hardcore. Most people are playing the game casually there doesn't need to be substantial barriers limiting progression so much. Upgrade rates, costs, to accessibility of pets and so on.. It's so hard for the average player to generate ely but at end game you need a whole bunch of it, People don't want to spend an entire work day on the game farming dungeons.

How are you going to approach making this transition from mostly having everything you needed to starting from scratch?

It's going to be rough and I'm still contemplating whether I still want to play. The truth is whats going to keep me playing is the social aspect. I'm hoping old and some new friends can make the game fun again. I would love to play in parties more frequently.

What are you least/most excited about in starting afresh?

The amount of time it takes to get back to where I was at. I wasn't that good even at 214 so to start all over again from accessories to gems to cards/codex and armours it will be rough.
Certain classes are at a huge disadvantage the damage is going to be so bad that it will be hard getting into parties.

I'm excited about party play in general and starting a fresh can likely take away all the drama and issues in the ogp side of things so that's good. Lets leave everything behind.

What "special perks and rewards" would be ideal after making the transfer?
This is hard but I will say they need to give us things that can hopefully just cut down on the time we spend getting better, because this game is such a huge time sink. Would be cool if we can all get like +10 mutant accessories for reaching level 205 as an example. Pets, maybe just increase inventory for everyone as well.

What can we as players do to help get the community back to what it used to be?
We definitely need to be more friendly. I always thought the community was much better in the past but as the game became more and more solo oriented it went down south. Making friends and playing together completing tasks was what made the game fun. I remember 8 party degos runs where everyone used to die and run back in the dungeon. People were afraid to die even though there are iron wills.

I'm hoping to party just about anyone in game, I'm even thinking of just meeting people through party list.

@cosmolotus My apologies! I had posted this and it had to go through some process of being reviewed which took forever lol.

    Here's my take on everything:

    1. I've put a lot of thought into that actually (which really made me think of this whole thing honestly). I'm probably going to stick with Savior mainly because I understand the class so well at this point, have an unique love for it, and I always aspire to make the not so popular classes decent. I also feel like we were so close to Goddess patch update that I'm really curious about the other Legend skills besides the flashy ones that we know about. With that being said, I also don't have the time I had in the past to do so so I may consider making other classes.

Ones I'm interested in include Sword Hero, PK, Force Master, and SO.

    2. My biggest thing right off the bat is advertising and getting people to play this game. I believe a lot of problems would be solved if we simply have a higher population. For a long time OGP survived off such a small group of players who were able to keep the server running, but with it being ran like that, it really kept the thought, "How long can they keep this up" in the back of my mind constantly. To me once that sole problem is resolved, it opens more possibilities for a stable server, reasonable prices, and more accessibility to resources and items that are necessary.

There's obviously a lot of other factors that contribute to those issues as well, but I think that would be a stepping stone in fixing those issues.

    3. When this server finally launches, there are certain things I'm looking out for before I actually start to put in real effort. I plan to be as casual as I can be because [in my opinion] what's the point of going through all of that hard work again if you don't know how management will operate or if we're in the same predicament as we were when OGP ran the server? With that being said, things like leveling and farming are what I consider to be casual so those things are what I will prioritize.

    4. I feel like regardless of who plays or not (older or newer players), it's going to be somewhat exciting because everyone is starting from 0. There are always going to be people to party with, run dungeons with and so on. What's going to be least exciting for me is just having to forget about all the accomplishments I had achieved and having to complete them all again. Farming cards/codex? "Damn I had almost all of these done in OGP". Collecting pets again? "Damn, I had over 30 pets in OGP". Lol you get the picture, but these are things I should be able to get over with time.

    5. I agree with everything both of you said concerning the rewards. You have people who've put in years of work, time, and money (my account was made back in 08). Personally, I haven't put too much money into this game, but time is still very important to me and I have friends who have put in quite a lot of their funds so it's really saddening to see everything that you worked hard for just be erased like that. If they aren't planning to transfer any data whatsoever, which I'm hoping they'll have a change of heart lol, I would like to see extreme benefits that would ultimately make this transition pleasurable and not a drag.

Aspects like leveling isn't what most of these veteran players are worried about. It's the equips, the special items, the gems, and the pets that they know they have to obtain all over again which they had in the previous server. With LaTale being a very chance heavy game when it comes to gear, this process is not going to be enjoyable whatsoever. Of course, some of the gear people had were unnecessary and overachieving, but these things were still earned and valuable to players.

So for a more direct answer, I don't necessarily want to straight up be given hand outs, but at the same time it would be nice to see veteran players rewarded with [possibly exclusive] items that would assist in moving in the direction that were envisioned moving in or that would place them in a position that would make them think "Hey, I can work with this."

    6. What our community has changed to is no new news to anyone. To start this server out, we really need to be as helpful as we can because again, everyone's starting from 0. There are going to be new players and players returning after years of not playing the game at all. It doesn't hurt to give someone advice if they're confused about something in game, show them where something is, or help them run through a dungeon. Eventually, we can transfer all of that useful information on OGP forums to this one to refer people to for even further help.

Furthermore, I believe it is essential for players to continue to voice their opinion and give constructive feedback about how management is handling everything. If GMs are willing to hear us out and are at least considering what players are saying (providing they're saying reasonable things) then feedback is essential.

My apologies for babbling on and this probably won't be read by management, but I thought players would be interested in answering these questions! Sorry if there are any grammatical errors lol kinda rushed while answering.

Which class(es) are you going to play?

Will be going for Phantom Mage once again as my main. Really the only class i am good at so why not stick with what i know. Also will make Sword Dancer as backup because who doesn't like a floating sword class.

In what way do you think Papaya should approach being the new host of this game?

    EVENTS EVENTS EVENTS.

They need to have way more events than OGP hosted witch was almost never, level up events were some of my favorites and with some nice prizes it would be a nice incentive for returning players and good way to real in new players. More frequent log-in events with better prizes would also be something i would like to see and possibly better prizes on the earlier days i didnt like waiting nearly a month for somewhat decent items.

Hopefully they get this game out their more OGP didn't do a very good job advertising La Tale and social media attention was almost none-existent i just don't think even after all these years that many people are even aware of La Tale and its a pretty amazing game.

What are you least/most excited about in starting afresh?

Well i must say i am totally excited about starting over, i miss the old days when you could easily find a party to grind with no matter what day it was. Things will be fun starting over, it felt like i missed a lot along the way.
Going to be sad that i will lose my 218 character, was so close to 220 (SO CLOSE)

What "special perks and rewards" would be ideal after making the transfer?

What i really wan to see is some potential fashion coupons of some sort its gonna be rough wearing all that newbie armor, i just want to be cute. exp potions would be nice, i am going to assume that will be a guarantee. Pets would be super awesome we need our pets, i will miss my cute dire wold.

What can we as players do to help get the community back to what it used to be?

We need more player cooperation lets grind in 4 man parties again, no more solo play i want to see more sharing. Less trash talking that's never fun.

     BE SUPPORTIVE!

How are you going to approach making this transition from mostly having everything you needed to starting from scratch?

Honestly i really enjoy early game so the transition shouldn't be to painful for me, its really gonna be about patience. Everyone has to re-farm for rep/cards/codex/etc you just gotta be patient and don't rage when you fail a million cards.

Which class(es) are you going to play? Are you willing to try something new or continue on with the same class you played for all those years? Why or why not?

I will probably be playing Arc Master this time around. Yes, it is #7 on the power horse list, while old good RM is #5, but I always wanted to leave my RM aside and level up Arc. Had OGP LT survived for a bit longer I would have started working heavily on my Arc indeed. Post Aki PS becomes #3 damage dealer in the game so might try that as well.

In what way do you think Papaya should approach being the new host of this game?

A lot of advertisement, then some more advertisement and extra advertisement on top of that. Also being accessible to players, actively communicate with the people, don't fool around and avoid plaguing game with "everything must be earned by a hard and tedious work".

    • What should be their main priority in running the server in an efficient manner?

Wisely choosing server location and server host. GM accessibility, coupled with little or non-existent lagg issues and active promotion of the game should make for a great combo.

    • In what ways do you think they should make changes in opposed to how OGPlanet operated?

What comes to my mind, apart from the things I have already highlighted above, is smart monetization system. What I mean is a system that is not p2w but still promotes buying "astros" (or whatever have you; "e-papayas") offering high-quality cash boxes.

How are you going to approach making this transition from mostly having everything you needed to starting from scratch?

Same as always - patience. A lot of it.

What are you least/most excited about in starting afresh?

New FashionShop, new monetization system, new market, new end-game content, possibility of playing a class I have not fully developed previously.

What "special perks and rewards" would be ideal after making the transfer?

Big and shiny title with good stats (stat% or atk% or exp/ely gain). Special permanent pet would also be nice.

What can we as players do to help get the community back to what it used to be?

I do not want the community to go "back what it used to be" unless you mean LT community from 5-years ago. I want nice, friendly and helpful people leveling up and doing dungeons together. OGP LT community stopped being these things too long ago and thus I do not believe it is possible to go back to that stage of existence.

rewarding will be tough cause it kind of has to be good enough to entice old players to play but probably not broken enough that new players are at a huge advantage, and I'd like to see new people try this game out so I'm not sure as far as rewards go.

However, losing all those items sucks. Like if we could have a server wide enchant event and such it would help; just an example.

    AsrielDreemur, former BA here.

I plan to go Gunner/Bladeslinger. No real reasoning, aside from it being my first class way back when. I thought it was fun, but it was around the time where Gunslingers were fairly underpowered. DF has won me over long ago when it was first introduced. However, my character who was made a DF was WAY outdated. Gems and all. So I could not use him to the best of my ability. At least now I'll be able to. And Bladeslingers were just amazing to me. Couldn't get back into them. Second will probably be a Windstalker (For the sweet ely farming possibility)

Probably said many times. But in difference to OGP, PPP should actually try to communicate with the players properly. Have a system akin to GAs. It seems that's when the game was most stable. To me at least, I don't follow the deep dramas.

I'll approach this fresh start with a... bit of optimism.

Excited about the game becoming party welcoming, and not Solo needed MLG esports doritos like OGP's was. It got to a point where you had to learn to solo everything. That's how I got from 202-213. I just solo'd Sky, Dyn Taid for badge, Odin for its badge, Ymir for its EQs and so on. (Not in that order, but you get what I mean.) Players were nervous of joining parties because there were such ridiculous standards for damage. And those were the only parties around, so you had little options.
Not too keen on going back to the imminent damage bashing because people aren't lucky with RNGesus and or don't drop 300$ just to get luckier. Friend I played with hated the game since, we were grinding Expert, and a party member had the nerve to say "Not nuf dmg herhehr" to him. They were casual, so naturally I only enjoyed playing with them for fun, not for damage. I was fairly strong, but not an asshole about it like others were at the time. Hoping that doesn't come back. (Even if it is inevitable.)

Hmmm, the special perks, I hope Fashion is included in whatever bundle they are planning if there is a big bundle of stuff. Or let people pick free fashions equal to how many they were wearing. I'm assuming Runes will be given, maybe money. I kinda doubt they'll be Past level based, considering it'd slant the balance right off the bat. So if it has fashions I'm good. Wanted to make a set that I can probably make on here at least/

To help... Well, we have to help each other. Create a peaceful non judgmental environment, give pointers, tips, suggestions. Instead of Shade, fade and hay.

I will stick to strider, like I have for the past 7 years on and off lol

As far as the other questions I really don't want to get any hopes/expectations up. I will wait and see how things go with regards to rewards, events, and whatever it is that they're giving us for having old accounts.

I don't have as much time anymore to play the game as I used to but I'll do my best to try to catch back up.

The one thing I'm bummed about is losing 630 cards/400 codex as well as my gems, I had finally just made myself duo guild and rainbow gem after all these years :x

I will also miss my lab weapon, best weapon I had made up until this point (+6 47/117) but I guess you can always make better so not as bad.

Look forward to seeing you guys around! ^^

My choice of class will definitely depend on the location of the server (latency issues). The move back to the West Coast from the East totally killed it for me since I was playing a strider that time.

These are some good questions and I hope Papaya Play is actually reading this thread.

Which class(es) are you going to play? Are you willing to try something new or continue on with the same class you played for all those years? Why or why not?

I'll be returning to my Strider. It's the only class I really enjoyed. I love the basic attack combos & finishers. Even with terrible Blader lag I loved the class.

In what way do you think Papaya should approach being the new host of this game?

Events. The biggest thing that keeps players invested, in my opinion, is good frequent events. Content updates are just a part of MMOs, so in my eyes the difference between a good & a bad version of the same MMO in different regions boils down to their events. For a game like LaTale, I would consider the following to be good, reasonable events to run:

    1. Reduce the number of materials needed to trade in for Colloseum gear for a limited time, or increase the drop rate of Wolf Tears & Badges in Colloseum during the event.

    2. Make seasonal events where puzzling success rate is 100% from level 1 to 10 for items with 100+ durability. Once in summer and once in winter.

    3. Make events that reward titles and Toma coupons.

    • What should be their main priority in running the server in an efficient manner?

For starters, reduce Blader lag as much as possible. IIRC from the way the game is programmed it's inevitable for Bladers to lag hard at 100+ ping. Other than that, as far as server is concerned, it's pretty typical stuff. Make a reasonable number of servers & channels for people to mingle but not disrupt one another.

    • In what ways do you think they should make changes in opposed to how OGPlanet operated?

    1. Remove LaDeck and Gold Darts completely. That system is terrible and promoted the monopoly economy that LaTale fell into. Just make Titles, Rings, Pets, and Outfits all available for a fixed price in the Cash Shop. Do Cash Shop rotations and rotate in and out a different inventory monthly.

    2. Make all Cash Shop items and  Coupons one time tradeable. If you buy from a player, it's bound to you forever. Don't allow monopolies to even start. Don't generate an economy where players lean on cash shop to close the gap. This will only work as intended if LaDeck doesn't exist, because people will just buy darts then swing for LaDeck items to merch.

How are you going to approach making this transition from mostly having everything you needed to starting from scratch?

Well, that's assuming that almost everyone is losing God tier gear. All I ever had was full colli gear up to level 140, crappy puzzling, and a few basic pets. To me, starting from scratch is an opportunity to actually get some things that I wanted that were stupidly priced in OGP. In fact, since I made my blader back when 80 was the class change level, things are probably going to feel much easier starting from scratch.

What are you least/most excited about in starting afresh?

Most excited about - Not having to deal with the riduculous divide in community. There were merchants, geared players, whales, and the rest of the community no one payed attention to.

Least excited about - The incredibly likely possibility that LaTale will just end up how it did in OGP in a relatively short amount of time.

What "special perks and rewards" would be ideal after making the transfer?

In my opinion there's only one good way to handle this. Give transfered accounts "growing" items that gain stats as the player levels up. Those items will be untradable and scale up with the player to a set level cap. I think level 140 would be pretty reasonable for a cut off since that's when you obtain secondaries and a very good core for your character.

Since fashion had native stats removed from them, giving all transfered accounts a free costume from a decent selection would be very welcome. I wouldn't even care if that free set of fashion was unable to have stats added to them.

What can we as players do to help get the community back to what it used to be?

    1. No more monopoly/cash shop economy.
    2. No more gear walls for players to join dungeons.
    3. Make guilds not cliques.

This is all just IMO. I fully expect people to disagree with me.

Think it would be cool if people took the opportunity and started TOTALLY new and fresh. Just my thoughts.

It would be fun to start up and play with a vet that changed their name and find out who he was after playing half the game with him.
A lot may probably do so if they didn't like their previous name or if they found a new one midway, but known scammers are sure to change their name entirely to continue scamming.

Wow. Good questions. I'll have to have a better swing at this when I have an actual computer in front of me.

I plan to make a gunslinger because I'm used to it. The first class I want to level, however, will be a knuckle knight. I wanted to be a knight when I first started, but a friend convinced me to do explorer instead.

I think OGPs biggest downfall was when they decided to stop listening to the players. They seemed to have the idea that they knew how to run the game best, and they sort of shut down player communications. In my opinion, the herald of the end was as far back as the disbanning of the game advisors team.

As far as I'm concerned, the server transfer is a chance for me to do what I tried to do in 2009. Play a cool game with friends. Maybe build a guild in the process. This time though, I have a lot better game knowledge. We'll see what happens. As for legacy rewards? I dunno. The Seres armor set to start us off?

I'm contractually bound to main a bard. But I hope I'll get to make a bunch of alts and have fun with more friends too.

As for how things should be run, I don't know. I stopped paying attention to LT sometime after S2, but I hope they keep a level of professionalism, all while having the friendly attitude GMs had in OGP back when the game first started. I also hope we don't breach out too far from kLT.

I just want to have fun with LT again!

& To be honest, I just hope we get fashion coupons ahaha.

Also, honestly, I think the past age of what LT's community "used to be" from 08-12 is long, long gone. Not just because of this game, but because of how internet and mmo culture turned out to evolve. It's impossible to force people to be silly and wild and creative and unique and express that without everything being a certain kind of way. OR...MAYBE...I AM WRONG...WINKS...

Alright, for the questions I skipped-

Really, I think Vertigo's priorities in running the server should be on two things, latency reductions and player communications. Latency is a complicated beast that can make or destroy a player's experience with particular classes, and while it won't ever go away, minimizing it should be one of their top priorities.

Player communications. I think what ended up sinking OGP was the mentality that they knew how to run the game best, and that they didn't need to listen to the community. From an in-game standpoint, players tend to enjoy talking with the GMs, and participating in GM hosted events. From a business standpoint, the players are the game's customers, and since we're the ones paying the bills it's probably in the host's best interest to ask what we're willing to buy. They'll need to be wary of adding systems that give straight stat bonuses though- see functional fashion.Everything in the shop needs to be optional- you should never NEED to buy anything.

What can we do to get the community back to the way it was? Depends. We'll never see the golden days of LT again, but we may be able to pull off something similar. I can't give any concrete guidelines though- players just need to go into the game with a positive and helpful attitude. The best I can think to do is to try to form guilds that encourage those values, and to coax new players into participating on the forums or the Discord server. If nothing else, we should have guides and FAQs ready for new players, so if they aren't into the whole community thing, we can at least arm them with the things they need to know going into this game and hope they decide to join the rest of us when the going finally gets tough.

Gotta use this opportunity wisely while we have an option to be heard so..

Which class(es) are you going to play? Are you willing to try something new
or continue on with the same class you played for all those years? Why or why not?
I see myself staying loyal to my favorite class, Knight line to Savior. Prior to PapayaLT, I owned 9 classes and its surely heartbreaking to know I'm starting all over and may only pick 3 for now. Aside from my Savior, I see myself including Wind Stalker in my first choices as well as Soulless One. Sticking to my favorite classes.

In what way do you think Papaya should approach being the new host of this game?
To start the game, throw out EVENTS to help us new and returning players get back on our feet to what we previously achieved in OgpLT. Also, Events keep players involved in the community as well as keep returning players coming back. [GM] involvement will also be well appreciated.

Oh also, try to maintain character balance.

What should be the main priority in running the new server in an efficient manner?
To be honest, I have no clue. All I can say it keep open new channels for some players to avoid game lag in popular areas.

In what ways do you think they should make changes in opposed to how OGPlanet operated?
Appeal to new & casual players instead of focusing on the level 200+ bracket. In the more recent months, Updates and Events redundantly cater to hardcore play. Allowing for lower level players and casual players to become more involved in the community will be healthy.

How are you going to approach making this transition from mostly having everything you needed to starting from scratch?
I'm actually not too big on starting fresh because, like most players, invested uncountable amounts of money and time to our best creations. Forged some unforgettable friendships during my time on OGPlanetLT. But ill give starting from scratch a try and see what perks we as returning players receive when we become Legacy LaTale members. Hopefully we get some stuff that allows us to be what we were on OGPLT. Lets stop dreaming though. It will be a lot easier to bond and party up with everyone starting from 0 so I look forward to bonding with returning players in an attempt to achieve a common goal. We are all on common ground here so we may as well make the best of it.

What are you least/most excited about in starting afresh?
I am least excited about having nothing to show for all the time I spent playing this game.
I am most excited about actually standing on the same ground as players who were usually above me and hope to play with them one day. I already see it, the parties are gonna be great.

What "special perks and rewards" would be ideal after making the transfer?
Character Slot Coupons, Guild Crystals, Fashion Coupons, Expert Cosmetic Coupons, and Prime EXP artifacts. Some of the things most of us players would love to have knowing all of our stuff is gone. Id like to be able to mock the designs of my old characters too. Guild Crystals allow us experienced players to start the guild system again and lead newer or more inexperienced players to higher ends of LaTale.

What can we as players do to help get the community back to what it used to be?
Party up and work together! If there is anything memorable about LaTale its meeting players and adding them to your buddy list, or meeting Guildmates and having those Skype Chats. Forging those friendships again, and with new players will keep the community intact and supportive. We can get back to where we were if we just work together.

Old IGNs for those who wanna know : I was formerly DevilMiko, Mazuro, ChibiRaven, and iElijah. My other 5 characters are irrelevant :) Hope to see you guys on PapayaLT and don't steal my IGNs.

I would advise you to edit your post and hide your character names unless you are not intended on using them on Papaya LT. Name sniping is a thing, you know.

Changing HL for demigod > I want to grow as quick as posible, demi is a solution about it because u can  deal alot of damage in low levels, the skills have a quick use so u have opportunity to activate another real fast,CD is very low even without CDR, also the biggest point of everything is that u dont have a subclass to Redo ur Lv 140 and go 220 again) example.etc is very fast compared to other classes love demi :), Also I like How  *Balanced*   is this class :D      #DemiRules!

The only thing I personally do not like about the Demigod class is the fact that I have absolutely no control over the class "phases" (holly and rage). On the other hand it opens up a way to somewhat cheat the system as both "phases" have their own cool downs, which allows to use Infinity 5th twice.

Yeah it´s true i´ve been thinking about that long time ago, is the same with DF, they will be able to use infinity 2 times in goddess patch if u didnt noticed, but demi have a nice advantage like, u lose all skills CD and the holly/rage changes, all CD goes to zero, and it helps xd. but yeah, demi is kinda unbalanced cuz each infinity hits 15, and does higher dmg then others infinities Greetings!

Personally. The switch between divine and rage works to your advantage and disadvantage. If you had control it would make the class broken. My cooldown rate by the end of OGPLt was pretty nonexistent because its what i made my build around. Demigod in my opinion. Is NOT good start off class. But i am starting off with it because its the only class im willing to play right now and i have already done it before. I personally feel the wanderer line is the easiest to start off with. When i made mine coming back to latale last fall. I hadnt used a hp pot until level 15x because i wouldn't take enough damage before leveling to have to use one. Sword wanderer is a great class to start off with. But yes.. #demiforlife

Which class(es) are you going to play? Are you willing to try something new
or continue on with the same class you played for all those years? Why or why not?
-Demigod, due to it's strength potential, and Windstalker, to make good money.Going to go along my usual route and stick with classes I'm familiar with considering it's going to be my first few characters.Need a main before I can make alts to try new things with.

In what way do you think Papaya should approach being the new host of this game?
-Papaya should just be interactive and responsive with the community.. it'd make me feel much better.Host events occasionally to keep players interested...etc.

What should be the main priority in running the new server in an efficient manner?
-Fixing reported bugs and things of that manner.

In what ways do you think they should make changes in opposed to how OGPlanet operated?
    -Agreeing with @asd from scratch?
-Go all out for the first couple of days.Just going to follow the main storyline and quest hardcore whilst strengthening my character.

What are you least/most excited about in starting afresh?
-Meeting players, making buddies.Everyone is starting from scratch, there'll be a lot of players in towns/areas that are deserts.

What "special perks and rewards" would be ideal after making the transfer?
-Nothing too unfair, probably upgradable gear or timed pets.

What can we as players do to help get the community back to what it used to be?
-Guide others in need of help..Not sell items for ridiculous amounts of ely..Don't be toxic.

Ill be a terror knight (since ull be the savior =P) because am addicted.Cant wait for it and cant wait for L7 vol II *_________*

Also I agree with the others about what papaya should do for the game and the players and i think just being this way is a clear answer to the question n°4. they can't just milk us and leave us to our destiny.

And am freaking excited because we will start from 0 and we will be all together this time, plus a bit of challenge to myself on my lvling record but... ill try to be quiet i promiss (even cuz am willing to help newbies too or w/e need help and would be difficult if i start grind 24/7).

I think am the only one which expect actually nothing eclatant by the Legacy reward... thought i would like to have a title that say something like "legacy member" or a effect ring that way... idk and idc honestly. in italy we says that not even the dog move the tail for nothing so not expecting and prolly i'll have a surprice =O

and least but not last...(in fact i think it's the most important question)

Think of a world which dosnt seems the real world, where everyone is helpfull and do at least a good action every day, a free leech here a gift there and noone that insult the other, no dramas...

Would be great dont u think?

SInce it's confirmed that the servers are in the East Coast US, what are the classes that are ping dependent? Are people switching classes because of ping?

Demigod seems like it will be a popular class, pretty cool. How do they upgrade their weps do they still other classes items and decompose to upgrade theirs?

Demigod decomposes items for shards. Shards are used to upgrade their weapons. The devs have tried to make certain classes less ping dependent so for the most part, all classes are playable with high ping now. But If you want to avoid ping classes. Blade master and rogue master are 2 classes that have been known to be really affected by ping. So you might want to avoid them. (That might have changed). But regardless of which class you chose. You should be fine for the most part. I wish you luck on your journey mate.

    - I'm not sure what I'll main because it looks like they are an EU host.

I did manage to play gunslinger decent enough at Aeria with 150-170ms but my connection has gotten so bad I may have to consider playing something beefier.  I'll certainly leave a character slot for the new class when it comes along, perhaps that'll be my new main.

    - I'm not greatly concerned with how they go about running it as long as they are reasonable.

I'm least excited about losing my characters and slots.  Most excited about that fresh new character experience.  It's always fun when a server first starts up.  I may to try and be less of a lone wolf...cat this time around.

    - Fashion coupons, and eye/hair/skin change coupons to help remake a character we lost.

    - Organize guilds, perhaps even have guild competitions.  Pvp, leveling, guild leveling ect could be fun.  As well as making up to date guides for class builds.  That always gets asked for.
