naLT, kLT, and Moving Forward

Hello everyone, ex-[GA]Jyrathus here with some Opinions™ on what OGP did right during their possession of the game, and things the kLT model could greatly improve. As we all know, OGP has left us with a broken codebase and many ingame problems that are so severe, they necessitate the full reset Papaya and Actoz plan on going forward with. However, there are a couple of things that I would greatly enjoy seeing carried over from our version of the game so far.
1. Artifacts
The EXP and IDR Artifacts are exceptionally useful things, giving a player a 3 or 7 day boost to those stats, to use at their leisure. They help facilitate grinding, which will be very important with everyone starting off at level 1, gearless, all over again. kLT has no feasible way of capping their effective IDR in dungeons, and I really hope we don't lose our ability to do so.
2. The PI Runes
I gotta admit, I was not a fan of these at first, but they've come to grow on me. The ability to buy the Alpha Runes for ely was a smart move, and the fact that our runes have crit rate, the all-important god stat of LaTale, is what makes me prefer them over kLT's runes.
However, kLT does have cooldown reduction in their runes, so gaining those at some point would be nice.
3. Some Pricing...
Not much to say here; OGP's Super Enchantment Puzzles are 2m, and kLT's are 3.5m. I can't think of anyone who would prefer the 3.5m price tag! And, the reduction of midgame gear costs would be very welcome.
4. The Monthly Login Package
Not much to say here, either. Please keep giving us our King's Attendance books, our Rose Keys, and our Goddess Cards. We will love you.
Moving on, there's a lot of things kLT's model has proven superior to OGP's on, and I'll outline some of these below.
1. Pets
The kLT cash shop features a rotation of pet coupons available for direct purchase, rather than hiding them behind the randomness of OGP's Infinite Chest and/or LaDeck. Among these pets is the much-coveted Hoothoot, an adorable pink owl that gives an additional 1% enchant success rate, and 10% successful crafting rate. This pet was kept super-exclusive by OGP, but it should be available to anyone and everyone who wishes to improve their gear.
Additionally, kLT hands out pet supplements in vastly superior quantities, compared to OGP. The Pet Potential system requires you to get obscenely lucky to get an S-rank stat... and then even more luck to get a useful stat... and then you have to repeat that five more times. kLT's login events will frequently give out enough supplements for dozens of potentials, but with OGP, their most generous event was maybe five rolls total. ...Well, until the Easter Egg event, but that's kind of moot now.
2. Statted Fashion
Fashion in kLT is a tricky beast. First, the good - every type of fashion has their own set of stats. Every hat will have a bundle of stats, every glove will have their own stats, so on and so forth. However, the major issue there is... a lot of it is also timed. Timed runes are a good enough time constraint; adding timed fashion would likely lead to a bunch of player unhappiness. (tho y'all gotta make money somehow so I mean, do what you gotta do)
3. Events
The 10th Anniversary events that kLT, jLT, and t(aiwan)LT received are nothing short of amazing. These events ensured there was a plentiful supply of very powerful buff potions, to facilitate the conquering of new dungeons. The major dungeon in Call of the Goddess, the Sacred Synagogue (according to google translate anyway :'D), all but requires people to be at the very pinnacle of endgame without these powerful buffs.
4. Overall Economic Outlook
kLT prospers through making necessities bountiful, and OGP attempted to do the opposite - making essentials rare, in the hopes that people would drop ridiculous sums of money for them. Additionally, kLT doesn't try to starve players of their Ely - it would be lovely if the price of upgrading Elrian's weapons, for example, would go from 10/20/30/40/50/60m to the flat 10m we expected from kLT and jLT.
Moving forward, there are some things I hope change for our version specifically, seeing as how we're starting as a brand new server. However, I understand that Actoz may not be willing to implement a bunch of naLT-specific things, so this section is more of "hopeful wishing" than "pretty strong suggestions."
1. Bankable Pets
There's going to be a lot of people wanting to try out classes they never really had the chance to with OGP, and a major part of gearing a new character is pets. By making them bankable, it cuts back on the "well I need like 20 billion ely to feel semi-strong" problem OGP facilitated.
2. jLT's Enchant Bindi?
In recent months, jLT seems to have added a bindi fashion item that functions just like the Mastercraft Mask, except it stacks with the mask. Such a thing would be beneficial to the entire playerbase, from someone enchanting some low-level (S) Weapons to use for a new character, all the way up to someone trying to upgrade their Gallus's Blue Heart, or maybe trying to get their Ethereal Elrian weapon to Lucent.
3. Rerolling the World Runes
The World Rune System being added in Call of the Goddess is, like a lot of things in this game, endgame-leaning. The price tag is strong evidence of this - 150m Ely per reroll. With everyone starting anew, this price tag might be too steep for a while. Perhaps it could be reduced to 50m, or 75m, for a while? Just long enough for everyone to get back on their feet.
4. Enchanting
...We're definitely going to need a large supply of (Advanced and Regular) Enchant Remedies. There's no getting around that.
If you've made it this far, then I commend you for getting through the wall of text! There's just one more thing I'd like to say. ...Sorry, Flip. I was an absolutely rotten person to you for a good long while, and I've come to realize it was all uncalled for. You don't need to worry about me going off on unhinged rants here; I'm in a much better place now.
Anyway, everyone else, feel free to add your Opinions™ too! The people in charge here are taking notes.

pofolks: the holy waters were good for that specific case, but... in all the other cases I think the artifacts just worked better
auggy: lol yes, 'exclusive' fashion shouldn't be a thing when they're all the same, stat-wise :V
