What would you add or change?

This topic has ALWAYS interested me. What would YOU add into Latale or change? From either the cash shop items, to npc shops, game mechanics or item pricing. What do you think we can do with or without?

Personally, I would LOVE weapon skins implemented . They just seem like a good idea! Give people something to put over their weapon and run around with haha. Also a color palette option, to change the colors of outfits you buy or use! having a selection of different colors to choose would make everyone's costumes a bit more unique and personable to them!

Two pretty basic ideas, but i feel like it would be nice additions overall.

[Disclaimer] These are just ideas. I am not requesting them be implemented. I just want to see what other people would enjoy having in this fresh start to Latale. So write down your ideas!

    I would love see a change to how EXP is distributed while partying. I think part/most of the issue with players not wanting to party stemmed from how the EXP distribution was designed. There were limitations with how far away you could be from one another to share EXP, and if you didn't deal damage you didn't gain EXP. I played with a tank guardian and a support bard in my organized parties with friends, and those two always fell behind in levels because they simply can't deal enough damage to gain EXP like a DPS class.

    I don't remember if this problem was ever resolved in OGP since I just ended up soloing, but if it hasn't been then I really hope it does.

    I would also like to remove stats from fashion completely. Pets are already a massive source of stats from the cash shop that make an absurd impact on your character. Make more of the power attached to the items you can earn in-game as opposed to items you have to buy from the cash shop and upgrade. Making super puzzles purchaseable with Ely was one of the smarter changes done to LaTale.

    While we're on the topic of cash shop, I am 100% for having permanent pets. Nothing is more discouraging than having to take a break from the game, say for work, illness, or other responsibilities, coming back, and having to restore all of your pets. LaTale already has enough wallet crushers with EXP potions, IDR potions, and buff potions. We really don't need anymore holes in our boat. If pets aren't going to become permanent, there needs to be plenty of events that hand out pet revivals. LOTS of pet revivals.

    I honestly think the pet system needs a complete revamp as well. I highly dislike that there is a "Pet Meta" and certain pets had higher value than others due to their statistical benefits. Personally, I would reorganize pets so that the statistical benefits you get depend on the total level of your pet collection. Regardless of what pets you have, if you have 5 level 30 pets, your "pet bonus" will be higher than someone with 4 level 30 pets. You can still gem your favorite pet you display for bonuses, and this makes the playing ground much more even for all players. Also, even if a pet runs out of time, its level still contributes to your "pet bonus." You just can't display that pet anymore. Once you obtain a pet, its contributions to your stats are permanent, but you have to revive it if you want to display it and have auto loot. If you really want to personalize your pet library then go for it, but if you're just in it for the stats then you can just deal with having the "generic" ones in the cash shop. I would say remove pet stats altogether, but LaTale is already too dependent on the system for it to just simply go away.

    As for some general things...

    End the vicious cycle of having to come back to the cash shop or farming Ely just to purchase cash shop items from other players every 30 days to keep your character "viable." Give players an incentive to use the cash shop, not rely on it. A change in overall community perspective will help this too.

    Reduce the gap between people who can and cannot spend hundreds to thousands of dollars on the game. It divided the community more than anything else. Whales can drive your ability to keep servers up, but they should not drive how the community behaves within the server.

    And opposed to the OP, I do in fact would like to see these be taken seriously and implemented to some degree or variation. Of course, I'm not going to get butt hurt if nothing happens, either.

    Proper QA. There's a LOT of small things that drive me crazy. Few examples:

    1) Remedies. Why are they timed instead of number of enchants? Sometimes you need to stop and think a little bit, like do you really want to risk 13'ing your current gear or not. While you do that, timer keeps ticking and you essentially waste your rems and money. That trick with portal is dumb af too
    2) Dungeon farming. It's just dumb how much time you spend on loading screens, especially when you farm coli for GP. The fact is, they don't even need to load/unload that location from memory! It's a very small location, just keep it in the RAM after the first run and my GP farm would be SO MUCH faster and enjoyable without the loading screens. Not a big fun of how slow changing channels is as well.
    3) Craft. When you open up craft menu, chose something from the menu and use a craft rem, the menu resets so you have to find the damn thing you needed in the menu again. Why?.. It doesn't have to reset like that! Again, you're wasting my time and ely

    The list goes on and on and on... I just wish they paid more attention to small details like that. Nothing game breaking but can be annoying to deal with :p

    How about this.. there is am item in a different game i play. It cost in game currency. It protects items from breaking when enchanting.. Latale could use something like that. Every weapon gets only 1 chance of protection from breaking. Whilst armor gets 2. The item could cost 10m/ use... a bit expensive but could save your armor or weapon from breaking going to lv 17 enchants.

    This is definitely true.
    While we are on the subject on colosseum, there's one thing I truly hated concerning conventional farming, was that the loading screens between the normal maps and the dungeon you want to farm provokes a net loss of time on the buffs (prime IDR nostrum so just you know, because I didn't felt like using artefacts these last couple of days). The net loss, at least for me, is about 15-20 seconds per loading screen, so I imagined that getting out by "selecting a character" would do the trick but no. Still 20 seconds lost.
    Chunsik is also guilty of that. So it is approximately 45 runs X ~15-20 seconds lost. I won't do the math, but it is a considerable loss of buff time.

    On a personal level, I really want that the loading screens don't eat up what you have in buffs remaining time.

    Another thing I want to see is how we can bring back to life certain bosses, some of which have now little to no purposes whatsoever. Namely Dr. Rice, Viyor, Hell, Siam. Gems are something but you definitely know you will ditch these the moment you got something better and this eventually comes quickly. So, why not giving them a little something like GP items (remember the Golden Globes from Sphinx or the Biker Keys from Hyunmu? because I do) or even Rep event items? I'm just saying because GP farming will annoyingly revolve with HC and only a few dungeons. You can even farm Harpy at Toad if you're that hardcore, but I sure won't considering it as it is still one bag per Harpy for a negligable amount of GP.

    personally im a fashion freak i really care what my character looks like, i would love more fashion option however i think we need more class fashion in particular i want a phantom mage set or swordian set its so cute so many class sets we never got.Runes on fashion that take up multiple slots need to get a 4 slots there are some fashion i would love to wear but didn't because i didnt want to lose the extra rune options

    Totally agree on the enchanting ideas @AreksDesu more often or not i have a blank moment when im enchanting my gear and waste my rem or the rush to get as much cube/enchant i accidentally click the wrong opt or on occasion i would 11 a stat, but thats just me i'm dumb.

    changing something to dungeon farming so that each person gets a fair amount of drops so that large group farming can be a thing, soloing is no fun at-least for me i guess people some like to solo. Gotta help each other out.

    Agree. It would be better to replace 60 or 120 seconds of remedy effect with a proper number of enchantment attempts. 20 and 40 would be fair in my opinion.

    Good and reasonable idea, though I highly doubt it could be implemented at all because of how the game is built.

    Basically, you loose 8 seconds of remedy effect if you want to stack 2 of them (say 10% and 20%). Whoever thought that putting enchant and craft remedies on a cool down was a great idea was completely wrong.

    If memory serves right this idea was brought up at OGP LT several times over the course of its life. It was discarded as "too casual".
    What I would propose instead is a system similar to the one in Closers: there, basically, is no fatal failure. There is some basic flat upgrade rate (substitute upgrade for enchant in our case) and if you fail to pass - your upgrade level goes 1 step back. There are, nevertheless, special items that confer 100% success rate within certain upgrade level range and in our case these items could be put to either FS for direct purchase or, speaking of high-end items, be put into gamble boxes. 
    But then again, LT has wild enchant value ranges, which makes the use of such system doubtful.

    Ugly egg should have the Loot skill (or the Handsome egg pet should be able to be extended in a reasonable way). This skill is too essential to the overall gameplay experience, and the fact that you need to buy [astros] to continue having this feature discourages new players from playing after their 7 day Handsome egg dies.

    More fashion slots for heaven's sake.

    Same sex coupling because i shouldn't have to make an alt to couple a friend I actually get along with well and play with often for the buff. (unlikely but whatever)

    I'm also seconding the choice to actually scale drops according to number of party members. It should not feel like a burden, but a joy to bring more party members. Its a MMO and to not accomodate that is bad game design.

    Also CAN WE GET A SORT BUTTON ALREADY OH MY GOD I AM SO SICK OF SORTING BY HAND ITS 2017

    Pets should not give the power spike they do. I get that pet herbs are a good moneymaker, but the combined damage buff is far too high to warrant being behind a constant paywall. They did away with fashion rings, they should do away with this.

    Mentioned above, but splitting drops is dumb. Give more drops based on party size.

    >Party exp
    ARE YOU FOR REAL? YOU GAIN LESS EXP FOR EVERY PARTY MEMBER? If anything, there should be a bonus to exp scaling with party size. Why would you be penalized for bringing friends? This game isn't supposed to be soloed!

    >Ely skills
    Paying Ely for skill points irks me. Further, guidebooks that unlock these skills, particularly when they come from behind a paywall, should be removed. These skills should be unlocked with either the achievement system, or leveled like skill growths.

    >Functional Fashion
    I know it's gone from OGP, but don't bring it back.

    >Class Name
    Just this one. It's JUDGEMENT. Not bladeslinger. I will continue being unreasonable about this one topic forever.

    None of these are in any real order. Frankly, the party xp thing is the one I want changed the most.
