Thoughts about Latale

Hey guys. I played this game like long time ago, however I played very casually. I was amazed by the blue rare weapon system back then, rather than the weapon system we had now. Also, when I started the game, I didn't grind too much, but I got so used to do quests with friends and leveling up together rather than %exp boost kiiling mobs. I believe that dungeons should be a big part of the game, not only these high level dungeons but lower level dungeons as well.

Any of you guys still remember the blue wolf spear or nine tail fox staff or tiger crossbow etc ?? I loved those weapons ^

I would love to do quests with friends other than simply grinding on the same map over and over haha.

Life is short so enjoy Latale xD

ps.not sure how to upload pics in this forum smh...

Yeah, I miss those times, I had a full Inbox of guild/craft only weapons that just vanished when Infinity struck, I was just left with a few earrings and a spirit wolf dual blade that I dropped because I didn't know its value back then.
It was also fun to be in a guild because you could help, be helped and party up to do quests or random casual stuff for fun rather than party up to grind at Chunsik or worse.

I hope people are really willing to be more friendly this time around, the game is much more fun when played with friends, more if we can revive the classic full parties from before.

    Old good days.

I remember questing in Mountain Caves, hoping that one the tigers drops me a crossbow. Eventually I had +9 Tigris Crossbow, which I kept until late 2016.

You can still do questing with friends and level up this way but you will need to have very relaxed and very casual friends because it will take you quite a long time to get to endgame content.

im planning on questing, a lot of things are given through quests are gonna be very useful for starting and maintaining a new character. Primarily the inventory bags from scenario quests. Plus its good to have all those waypoints unlocked from exploring for many reasons.

I'm thinking about going the quest route too thought I must admitt that temptation to simply rush to 200 is there.

I wonder if they will be keeping the questlines for the classes that were created later since they help them to level faster o.o?
I think ill be taking the game slowly, collecting things for the codex ect... that way i wont feel super pressured to do it later~

(I do hope people will be friendly at the start and willing to make new friends like in the olden days~ Even back in season 1 the high level players would go around helping everybody who was lower level, so i hope they do the same once they rush to 200 or whatever)..... one of the reasons i hope they do not do a leveling even to encourage people rushing.......

Does anybody happen to have a questing guide?

I still have not decided what class to play though, im stuck somewhere between Souless One, Star Seeker/ Swordian, Black Anima (lantern), MAYBE Pop'N Star or Arc Master or Force Master.... I honestly think what I pick will depend on the rewards we get.

I always liked Souless One the most, but THOSE ANIMATION LOCKS..... then again i guess if enough people form parties to do dungeons TOGETHER it might not be that bad considering the numbers you can hit without good gear using the crit buff we get.

@Chymes I know some people who are waiting until closer to the launch to post some guides they have created for the game (how much closer im not sure). But there already exist a thread for guides. http://forum.papayaplay.com/index.php?p=/discussion/356138/save-the-guides#latest Here is the link. As for your character choosing. I suggest you take some time and make a new ogplanet account and play some classes. Whichever you find best, choose! I hope this post was in some way helpful to you!

@AugustineVii Oh, thanks for the info! As far as the class I have played all of them from the start with little to no gear. Its mostly the subs and 4ths that make it hard.....

I have a thing for classes with big flashy skills. I think ive narrowed it down to Saviour, Soulless, and Star Seeker (as its the only class that focuses on summons who are more than just skills... If only i didn't hate the running animation--) . As of now I have mostly been searching for videos of the new legend skills to see the different playstyles ^·^

@Chymes those are some great class choices but the question is can you decide on the one you're gonna try first :O? I'm really curious because those 3 classes are classes that I played with and actually loved to use.

@owillyd Soooooo true! The real decision is between Star Seeker and Souless.... I generally prefer magic classes..... But having actual summons is also something i like..... Thats where the " card" classes seem appealing since, as it would seem, they can summon monsters and have magic-- Souless can summon but its slow and more like using a really long skill.

@Chymes Ahhh, Star Seeker is a great choice really same with Soulless but in terms of Magic Card Master is great with summons there are a bunch that you can go out and capture its a really fun magic class. All of those choices are great though :D just have to find what you like know what im sayin'?

I definitely feel that, I'm also rather nostalgic about the "good old days", the bulk of my playing was in Season 1 as well xD I started way back in '08 and stopped playing consistently around 2012-13. So like S2 hit somewhere in that time and I've played about a week a summer since then, but uni (and especially being in architecture school) ate wayyyyyy too much time to devote to an MMO, especially while playing other console games. Looking forward to playing again though with the fresh start, and even though it wont really be anything like S1, I'm excited to have a lot of people around the same level/areas again.
