Somewhat of a request to my fellow Latale players.

Hey, this might seem a bit strange at first, but going into this new server, with new starts and all, there is one thing I would like to see more of than anything else.

Using the local chat more. Yea, I know, why local chat? Well, the thing is, if everyone is grouped up in town and in party, guild or buddy chat and whatever, the game is dead quiet to anyone in those circles. New players find it hard to impossible to get involved in the community.

So I ask you guys, when you're hanging out with your friends in Elias, use local chat for casual discussions, be open and maybe allow some new players in on it as well, who knows, you might make some fast friends!

    That's not really strange at all. A lot of  people actually want to do this since there's going to be more new players now

    I wish there was zone chat so people could just chat with whoever is around. Elias would be way more of a social hub then. But I guess that would get really spammy. It's a lot of fun in some other game I've played tho.

    Can't hurt, the chatty days were good, lets also try to dispel the gear judging behavior i used to witness regularly. That contributed to people becoming more closed off, not to mention hiding their equipment to not deal with such critical comments. 

    Gotta root for each other more rather than trying to act better than each other all the time; that way LT can actually start living up to its "friendliest community" moniker.

    I agree wholeheartedly! We as a community should support and help one another. Idk maybe some days we should all just get together and have mini events on weekends or something. Bring everyone together and have a good laugh. :) i would love to see something like this in the community~

    I would love seeing server-wide announcement "We have a discord server! Join! %address%" popping up every now and then.

    More people on Discord - more people to chat, hang out and make friends with.

    While the discord is nice to organize things and post announcements, I definately feel that players would be better off talking and chatting in game. I know of games that are just people chatting in discord but nobody online.

    My only wish is that they somehow manage to stop gold spammers so I have a reason to want to look at chat e.e

    Yes! Hopefully this becomes a reality, i used to use chat all the time but when the gold spammers were on all the time,and discord came out, i just talked to people on that, and like blocked chat out, or just did guild chat. hopefully this becomes a thing, and that our new hosts will be able to stop the spammers :D.

    This is why we have the discord server! But don't worry, plenty of peeps talk openly in the main cities! It'll be a breeze!

    @JellyDonut I also hope they will build a wall to keep those gold spammers outside our beautiful Papaya Land. At least forums will be clear of their presence because of approval system.

    Let's also be sure that we aren't snobby to new players who don't know what they're doing. Local chat can be a great way to assist our new friends.
