Why do you love your favorite class(es)?

My 2 favorite classes are crossbow Ruin Walker (never got to Wind Stalker but I will this time!) and Star Seeker.

I love crossbow Ruin Walker because lasers, dropping treasure chests on people, the flamethrower, the ballista thing that I can't remember the name of (so much dmg!), the fire field... just so many fun skills. I mean... come on... LASERS!! And also, the cannons are fun and useful and it's easier to make money and get rare drops.

And again with Star Seeker... LAAASERRRS! My favorite thing is getting all the cooldown skills and putting one giant laser firing one way, then go on the other side of the enemy and put another firing the other way (which is only possible with faster cooldown). It's a LASER SAMMICH! The airplane summon and the flying robot are flipping awesome as well, and the stunning crush crush thing.

So why do you love your favorites?

My favorite class is probably Maestro. I love the music it plays and how elegant it is haha. But my favorite class to play is Demigod. It's the first class I actually put a lot of effort into (more than 25 billion ely before it even came out). It has its drawbacks and IS an extreme expensive. But it was fun and paid for itself over the months. I plan on maining it again~

I actually never tried Maestro because my Minstrel was supposed to be a rock chick. Her name was RockinPretty and she had a pink guitar. I figured Maestro wouldn't make any sense lol.

Maestro was my choice magic class before demigod. Really fun and beautiful class~!

Hero (both sword and spear) rocks.
Spear: Helicopter around the map with your spear, rain lightening and stabstabstab mobs, serpent dance away
Sword: *Throws Giant Sword at mob* dashy-dash, smack them really hard!
Fun stuff. I hope there are some Heroes around, cool class.

Another one I've always admired, though I have no experience playing it myself, is Terror Knight. Anytime I ever saw somebody playing a TK, they just looked so god damn cool. Not just in terms of the play style and skills but the avatars themselves as well. Like TK players just had a good sense fashion that I found myself agreeing with most of the time. I also think the weapons for them look amazing and I like the idea of being a juggernaut that punches things to death.

Fav class has got to be Demi-God.
And not just for the unbreakable weapon.

I always wanted a class that used something resembling a Bo staff when fighting. That's why I started off with a Spear hero.

Have you seen latest SS summon? Oh, you will enjoy it!

As for my favorite class - this is definitely Rogue master. Dash-dash-shackles-ninjas-dash-dash. Amazing class.

    Sword Dancer. So much fun.

a giant obnoxious hitbox sword skill. Flourishes of light and pretty skills. Randomly summoned swords. All the while your normal and hard attack set you up for the next skill and mobs get juggled endlessly.

First you get the starting moveset and its so awkward at first.

Each move has its own utility and varying effective ranges, your normal and hard attack move you forwards and backwards you might completely miss your targets a few times thanks to hit boxes and your own juggle effects as you get used to it.

But then it clicks. You start timing your normal and hard attacks to close in and space away from mobs to set up for your next skill. And you time your juggles to either keep the damage on your target, or whittle away a whole mob by kiting with your combo and throwing in stuns to set up for your sword summon spam combined with your strongest skills for a mob clearing burst of damage.

Its basically controlled chaos with lots of movement, it actually lives up to the dancer name

I had alot of good times playing Phantom Mage. I really liked collecting the cards and codexes of the game.. so when I knew of a class that could utilize every stat I collected, I really jumped on board with it for quite awhile.

The class itself is pretty fun to play too, it's got a little bit of everything. I kindof preferred the older versions of the class though (but it's great that it's alot easier to gear now).

Der Freischutz for days.  It's not hard hitting but the hit rate helps make up for it.  I mostly like how the two basic skills are always there to fill in the blank.  Several skills offer movement options and one has possible stun.  On top of all that is the magazine effect which can be helpful for pve, pvp, and farming.  It's decent for solo types, and if it doesn't hit hard enough it's subclass does pretty good for that.  The art of kitting has never been as fun accept for Sefirot.

Favorite class is Strider. Been carrying it since I started the game in 2010. It was my first ever character as well. Learned to love it and now just feels off not playing it. I've played all classes, their subs and their 4th jobs, nothing fit my play-style better than blader did.

I'm still trying to find the class I'll play. I didn't like the class I mained much, and I didn't play long. Reading what everyone likes about their classes though is very helpful! :)

Really liking demigod weps expensive but not having to constantly try to find a new decent wep is nice and fury mode really fun divine modes alright. Before that liked sword wanderer but it got boring after awhile. Sefis probably my fav outta the original classes so many differnt skills and its crazy mobility made it a fun class.

Knight because it's just the role I fall into in every game. While my highest level was on my Gunslinger, I definitely feel more comfortable playing a tank. There's little to no fear of death and if you upgrade enough, you become a full on "Mighty Glacier" to take TvTropes's term. Terror Knight has also been very interesting, but I never got far enough into it to really decide if it's for me.
Gunslinger is definitely a close second, though. Playing as a knight every day gets boring fast, so it's nice to have a squishy but very high hits per second class to fall back to. And remind you that being squishy isn't fun when you don't have the necessary controls to back it up.

Bard's always been my favorite, ever since way back in the day~ Started pretty early S1 back in like... April '09. But anyways started Wizard because I thought magic was pretty cool. Took forever to grind up to 80 for class change, but ultimately decided to go bard because Ice is pretty much universally my favorite element in every game, and I thought the idea of having a guitar was cool. No regrets.

Like obviously as more class levels and stuff came out, Sorcerer started getting the additional, better ice skills, but I've always loved the ability to self sustain with Bard. Healing is useful, both for solo'ing and of course in a party. I never went full support build, so that part was important for me.

Minstrel and Pop Star added lots of fun toys as well, and it's nice having Maestro as an easy DPS kind of class to fall back on for certain things. I've barely played since S2 in 2013, so I'm pretty out of the loop, but excited to build a Minstrel/Pop Star again and find out what else has been added on top of that!

I've always liked magic classes in MMOs, and popstars are lovely. I like the guitar, the guitar skills, the buffs, the pretty water skills, the music it plays. Everything about it is noice ^^

I have always loved Sword Dancer.

Although it seems to have been nerfed utility-wise from what I've seen compared to when I last played, back in early 2017 or so, with the removal of its stun skill, removal of the hard 10% damage resistance on the Ultimate, Ultimate proc'ing less often, and Ritualistic Dance having a 10s CD in PvE (it was previously spamable to an extent, as long as you had AP).

It definitely feels a bit stronger overall though, with the Ult giving +200 Attack now instead of the resistance, and Ritualistic Dance seeming to activate the 3rd sword 100% of the time now. I miss the extra utility but still love what the class has to offer, since it still has so many options.
