Economy and trolls: A dummy guidebook to solve this issue

What are Trolls?

Trolls are monsters that live under a bridge and won't allow you to pass that bridge until you have solved their riddles. This is the myth definition or whatever, in an online term, we consider trolls peope who hide behind a monitor and try to taunt or talk smack in the comment section or whatever. In La tale definition I consider trolls people who are overpricing things on the market just for the "lulz" or because they want to purposely ruin things for new gamers.

Who are these trolls?

Just check the auction house or mic, personally I do not want to call out people, because i dont like putting people in a shaming position, but if you would like to do that then go ahead. You can see these people are obvious trolls, because someone can mic that they are buying pot exp 500% for 5m ely, but then the chat gets flooded by people saying B> or S> for 10m.

What are these trolls doing?

Overly inflation along with constant harassment of the community by flooding out their chats when they are posting their value on the merch of which they want to buy, these are the people who are not even playing the game, just starting out and hoarding ítems so people can desperately reach them out to buy them.at a high cost. I consider these people the same way I consider the Bots, annoying and unneeded.

Economy 101:

I am going to skip over most of the details on economy, mostly because this guide thing is already going to long for me, and i want to discuss my solution mainly. The way an economy Works is that you have an available amount of supply, and then you have an availabe demand. To put it into understandable context, lets use exp pot 500%, currently as i had made this discussion, they are 1 hour (these casuals thought it was a good idea, but whatever). Anyways currently you can get them from Seres boxes, a gamble box, that is currentlyi would like to say less than 5 dollars for one, like just a tip over 1 dollar, or less than one. Anyways as far as i have seen and had a few Friends tested the box, out of 10 boxes, currently you can get about 3-4 exp potion 500%, this is the average with sometimes if rng hates you or whatever, you can get 1 or 2. Anyways, these critters are INFLATED, In both prices and availability, currently they should be worth around 2 million and 5 million, but these Little suckers are up to 30 MILLION, its insane. The demand for the ítem is not even that high, as most people are QUESTING, rather than using their resources, meaning that these people only need about 1 or 2 pot, to reach 200, the people selling would have an extra 2 hours left for themselves!!!! Sugoi, right? Sadly this is all i am going to go through (i know about the whole attack master guidebook and everything else, this is only part 1 of the book  im publishing, so i will cover more details later on.)

Solution for this issue?

My current list of  solutions for this amount of stupidity and attention grabness that most of these OGP players have is simple, the reason they are getting away with this is because there is no regulation, people are calling them out, but they are not being punished in any way, and i dont see the GM saying "well that Price is right" or "that Price is wrong", i doubt they are in the player shoes like i Heard they would. The way I see it, I do not want to take solutions from different games because diferent people play those games, so I went out of my ways to write many different type of solutions for this game, I had to formulate the questions to get to the answer, keeping in mind all about the money transactions and the amount of people who are wanting to grind and etc.

My first solution is The MERCHANT Pass, its a simpe pass that you can buy from an NPC workshop, since we want to keep it noob friendly, i want to Price this thing at 1k ely, or 10k. This pass is like an extensión of you, you can now merch all you want for an unlimited amount of time, but like i said, its an extensión of you, therefore you are responsable for it. The ítem itself is unbreakable and unsellable, it wont take much of you, and it can be in a place people rarely use, like the event tab or misc. As this ítem is an extensión of you, if this ítem were to be "REVOKED" you could lose the ability to merchandise, maybe for 1 day, maybe forever. This will also BOUND any ítems you try to sell, meaning you cant trade them or whatever unless youre banking for a different character on that account. this is a great punishment in my opinión, it will keep people from doing things on purpose, and it will make people want to look at the current SELLER MARKET, and the current PLAYER MARKET, meaning that if most players are buying them attack masters for 5 million ely, then thats the current Price, sure you could sell it cheaper, but any higher, and you would get your licenses revoked, especially if its doublé that amount or 1.5 times thats amount. I dont really want this to happen though, bounding peoples ítem that is, so they could have their ítems taken into custody by an AI and the AI could sell it for them at a reasonable Price, and they get full money of that, their license would be revoked, so they can never themselves sell again, but the AI can, it would also  fix prices.

My second solution is what everyone else would like, NPC THE ITEM, have an NPC sell the ítems for the F2P community, now it can be coded into an NPC the ítems we want, like potions or whatever, it can be even put into an ELY GAMBLE BOX, maybe the cheapest one they got since we just started out on the game, but this would resolute prices even more. Like i said, it can be coded into an NPC, or what i would like the least is that, it can be SOLD TO THE NPC FOR A PRICE, AND THEN THE NPC WILL RESELL IT FOR ANOTHER PRICE, a "changing market" so to speak, if 50 people sell their 500% xp pot to the NPC for 40m ely for example, but there are 100 people wanting to buy that 500% xp pot, then the npc can sell the first 50 for like 20 million, and then the rest will slightly rise. until its at a Price that people can buy them again. notice how i said PEOPLE, not the amount of ítems, thats because the ítem can be infinitized once registed for selling, this will keep both merchants and community in check, as they can sell the npc the ítem at a reasonable Price and get it, and the NPC in return can sell it to the community at an even more reasonable Price, meaning that someone can earn 1 billion ely selling at lets say 2m each pot, and the community benefits from buying them pots at 1 million ely from npc. this is my second solution, a revolving market around one person controlling things, which can be edited out once we have something fixed.

Anyways thanks for Reading, i want to continue updating this economy book, but that will be on a later time (i am missing more of my solutions and a in depht explanation of economy, its not that simple), welp hope ya read it and can spread this out, petition out these ideas if you like it just like the same-sex marriage one, so the GM could implement it into their systems later on in time.

other than that, keep making your tale more frutitous.

    long story short.
The second solution is like an NPC can sell items for you. And then item price is base on the demand, like the stock market right?
the first solutions I don't understand

i must be extremely unlucky then, since i got around 3 primes out of 50 seres boxes

written as such, ( similar to other posts on this latalein) this problem will extend beyond just primes:
if it takes $500 to get any single player to lvl 210 or something with bare midgame power without any free events to help players get along further themselves, this game, and its players will find itself in a similar position to ogp.  I realize we barely just started, but it is still just a red flag considering almost all players are already starved for items and it is just the second day. Exp pots, idr, and ely stuff are tools that are necessary to have things be completed in a reasonable amount of time, it is up to the players to put in the work with these tools.

in simple terms yeah, you can have an NPC buying and selling

But you can get free exp pots from various quest.
