Gamepad stops working when clicking windos outside of latale

Say I set up a gamepad and everything's working. I then click on another window, such as discord, or skype. When I go back to Latale, the gamepad no longer works and I have to restart the game inorder for LT to recognize there's a gamepad connected. This happens every time I click out of latale.

I'm playing on window mode, using a Wired Xbox One joystick. I was able to click other windows in OGP latale also.
