Revert Back to Main Class = Reverting Levels?

So I hit 170 as a Judgement and went back to the subclass area in Orca because I wanted to see if I could get my Fourth Job there (new to game). Tried going back to my main class and it reverted me back to Duelist and then my level dropped to 140. Did I just waste my time getting to 170?

    The subclass has a separate level. If you switch back to your subclass then it will stay as 170.
    So if you planned to train your subclass to 170 and switch to 4th it wouldn't work. But hey, at least you have the sub class at 170.

    Remember that they both have their OWN SET of quests. So if you plan on lvling both of em keep that in mind.
