Manual Update?

I guess it's not many who are experiencing the 12002 error or others like it but having a solution would be great.

Basically it's this, >install game, >run launcher, rowid.spf starts to download then stops followed by error 12002 stating it's a server issue of some sort.

I've downloaded the client twice now and the only variation has been another odd error I don't quite recall but I think it had something to do with allowing the launcher to access the internet to show the usual slides of game news.

I have tried the patch download in the download section and it doesn't do anything but bring me to the top of the same page if I scroll down.  I've also tried running as administrator and turning off all antivirus and firewalls to no use.

On a side note I've noticed doala doesn't work, the error is in characters I can't read so... eh I guess the client is messed up in some way and that's why it needs to update?

Question:  Did everyone else have to update their files via the launcher when they first started or after one of the maintenances?

If yes perhaps some kind soul with a rockin' internet connection would be so kind as to upload their rowid.spf to a file host so I can test it.  In the past I'm aware of people having trouble with just one of the files and a manual update would fix it.  I'm hoping this could work.

In the meantime I'm still waiting for a response to my support "request".  I imagine they have quite a few to go through so maybe this coming week I'll receive a response.

Thank you, once I was able to download the file it got me past the error.

Now Game Guard is giving me error 360, my internet connection just isn't up for this I guess.

Tried many more things and it doesn't seem to be my connection but perhaps a weird router issue I can't nail down.

If I used someone else's Game Guard files would they work for me?

I hate to ask but I'm so close yet so far from playing.

    XD

I've been trying everything on a Win 10 system and Win 7 one.

That's part of why I think it's a router issue, the other part is it's a few years old and started acting odd (not allowing devices to connect via ethernet and some not even by wifi) after power outages.  I've tried all I can think that's relevant.  I was hoping for a solution that could let me at least create some characters till I can get another router which is why I mentioned using someone elses's files.  Not sure if it'll work with GG though like it does with the client.

It's also bothersome in that it won't let me report the GG error because the error report "send" function brings up another error.  Sadly it's starting to become funny.

well if you think is a router problem, tri to reset it and conect it again the router, but maybe your computer need a cleaning and a reinstalling win7, keep using 7, 10 so many bugs yet even with the time it has passed it still a lot of isuess with games, any kind of game, cause of computer specs, a good format and new instalation will clean you pc and the format will give a electromagnetic clean to the HDD.
then install again o.o, but it will be a long solution, if you dont know how to doit, try to send a ticket. maybe you firewall is doing somethin with the gameguard or your antimalware or antivirus.

Thanks for the advice.  I have powered down the router and modem a couple times, and updated the firmware to the router as well.

I would agree the Win 10 system I have could use a fresh start however it wouldn't explain why it still happens on the Win 7 system since it's a fairly new install.

I do have a ticket waiting for them to respond to (almost a week so far).  I've updated it a few times so hopefully if they have a solution I'll receive it when they get to it.  More and more it seems like less of a problem with the game and something with my hardware.
