Weird Application Error:

I continually get this pop-up error every few minutes when playing. It doesn't prevent me from playing (meaning it doesn't close the game) but it is very annoying. Is anyone else having this issue and is there a fix for it?

EDIT: The error is: WerFault.exe - Application Error

The instruction at 0xf09.... referenced memory at 0x772.... The memory could not be written. Click on OK to terminate the program

Clicking OK doesn't seem to do anything noticeable. Anyone else having this problem?

It's a commonly known problem with gameguard and your antivirus that occours with many games that use Gameguard (try googling: Gameguard Werfault error)

disabling/ pausing your antivirus while you play should stop the pop-ups - at least it did for me.

Having to disable your antivirus and leaving your computer open to viruses is a load of crap.  I had uninstalled my anti-virus (AVG) after having picked up something else and didn't have the issue for a while but it came back anyway.  Anti-virus or not it seems to come up anyway for me which leads me to believe Gameguard isn't worth the time and effort that was put into creating it (my opinion of course).

Now, I'm stubborn, so I won't be not playing the game because I do enjoy it (when it works properly HINT HINT PAPAYA) but to be completely honest, this issue that keeps happening, along with another issue a friend of mine is having with the "Security Has Changed and Latale needs to update" or whatever will ultimately result in people leaving the game.

This game is a great game.  I didn't have any problems with this error when on OGP and as much as I hate to say this, I actually wish OGP was still running the game.  Papaya's consistent issues with this and saying "Turn off your antivirus" or "turn off your firewall" is NOT  a fix.  It's them being lazy.

I hope that Papaya's admins are reading these messages because maybe they'll wake up and realize that "Hey, if we don't fix this, people won't play this game and we wasted our time and money on getting this set up!"
