Wind Walker After 4th job 170+

First time getting this high in Latale and I have a question about the monsters. Did the difficultly in the mobs increase dramaticly or am I under geared? I use the Level up gear and weapon and yet I am struggling to kill mobs and I am not sure what I am doing wrong. These mobs are 2 stripes not 3
