RE: Unable to use certain skills such as Archmage's Firewall

Hi, This is in reference to Latency Affected skills and how to solve the problem.
I
saw that it was mentioned in the Developer Diary that the developer
wasn't able to reproduce the issue this is because they don't have the
latency from server and so wouldn't be able to test it.

I
remember documenting this Issue back when Subjobs came out on OGP they
were at first very hesitant to fix the issue because they believed it
wasn't a bug but it is in fact an easy fix in the coding, here is my
post on the OGP forums that shows how you to fix this issue on the
client side, but this also needs to be on the server.

post doesn't include firewall because 4th jobs weren't released at the
time so some skills might be named slightly different now and there
might be some editions to the list.

    i have the same problem after going through the hard and tedious work of Legend4 on my bm.
    the outcome was the new legend skill added a 4th and 5th part to the blademaster's special hard attack combo
    bottom line was it literally made the skill unusable because it freezes at the part where the legend 
    combos are meant to take place

    this is especially damaging because the class is really dependent on that combo 

    i did the quest thinking it would make the skill less ping dependent but it made it worse 

    i remember ogp patched on of rogue masters combos like the dash slash (i don't remember what it was called) which was two parts but they made it so the second part was instant with no delay 
    maybe papaya can do the same with classes with ping depended skill issues, it would be much appreciated 

    i hope this issue gets taken into consideration
