Weapon balancing

After you did a nice job balancing the air craft, its about time to balance some weapons. Mk1s german,is bugged and should get fixed asap. Scar H is obviously too powerfull. Aw50 with 1,8 damage on md is also too much. You need 6 bullets now to destroy md (before patch 9). MD on pargona east is the reason why everyone likes this map. Of course it is nice that you cant get spawnkilled so easy anymore but in my opinion pargona east will turn even more in a "sniper only" map. Every good md pilot will put sniper off, on that map and will spawnkill Players. All assault characters with that high accuracy should also be nerfed. M14 should only take half SP away instead of all (like vs engineer).

    Hey I agree about these, weapon balance is badly needed.

    For M14 (and flash mine), imo the best solution would be to make them like in Korean WR, which is that mines are visible for the enemy team too, this way you could avoid them in most places if you are careful.

    I also like it that M14 would only take away half sp, also 5 points is too much, 3 is enough after the nerfs, max points gained could stay the same so you could still get a lot points but you would have to put more effort this time.

    Mk1s_DE is just a joke yea, it has been nerfed before too, but for some reason they made it op again..maybe mistake or maybe Nexon being greedy? Not sure but it needs a quick fix.


    AW50f, its ridiculous because of the accuracy, even after the "nerf" its still 98%, combine this with 1 shot ability and being able to shoot trough glass/vehicles and do big damage, its just too much, 9/10 shots to md500 sounds pretty fair, but its also the accuracy that needs a proper nerf.

    And actually most snipers are really unbalanced, some are completely useless while some are balanced but not useful thanks to aw50f being good in every aspect, you can read my example suggestion about sniper balance from the thread that I linked, its about 2/3rd of the thread, with big red text.

    Scar-H is a bit bugged too, the speed is incorrect (its too fast) and the damage for leg and chest/stomach is swapped, its 4 hit kill to leg but 5 hit kill to chest, it should be the other way around :D

    But yeah even with fixing the speed, its still pretty overpowered, in every other game and irl, it has only 20 bullets but its powerful, so fixing the speed and making it only have 20 bullets per magazine might do the trick and if that's not enough, then reducing the speed to 65 surely will do it.

    About characters, I have suggested that the characters only give stats/boosts for the PVE-mode and if that's not enough, they could do a special mode where you have no limits, so the stats would work in this mode too.

    You listed well the most important weapons, there is a lot more weapons to be balanced, but these weapons are priority because they cause a lot issues, even as bad as people leaving the game.

    And one last thing, Korean WR had weapon balance patch too and I heard that we will get that weapon balance update too, it will include nerfs for NTW20, DSR1TC, AK47TC, AK47 Dual, Winter stinger and buffs for Magnum, Desert Eagle and Throwing Knife.

    Definitly this new age started pretty well, you guys will be on the top if, for the moment, you guys fix MK1S DE Its a broken weapon made for get $, I think this game lost more than win with this kind of practices in my opinion...

    For Scar H, well, its f2p, its not all that bad, specially with the problems we had (and have) to deal (hacks/overclock/really broken weapons..), but yeah, I wont say it dont need a fix like AW50F, this one needs a fix specially with that aircraft nerf.

    But well, first the true broken things like MK1S DE and hack/ovc themes imo.

    Papaya (which is doing great os far) needs to know that:

    -Aw50 should be the same as korean WR. This change will improve the camping spawn problem, because nubs won´t be able to do it with psg or barret.

    -Mk1 De is bugged, like MK1 Red was. This should be fix right now.

    -Scar is way overpowered, famas should be the strongest weapon for assault.

    Adressing this will improve warrock for good.

    Its called a balance patch for a reason and here you are at your level and time in game crying on the forum that you cannot hover over a main base and spawn camp without taking to much damage thanks to the increased damage stats. 

    They need to adjust it even more and make pilots think what there doing and not just blindly rush to the other teams main base to rocket spam every single game. The rate of fire needs decreasing and maybe amount of ammo. Or the re-spawn timer needs increasing and the ammo locked and not re-loadable start making pilots think before they fire! 


    Making mines visible is a silly idea! A mine is used for defense, what good is it if the enemy can see and maneuver around the mine. Maybe CQC should have them show but in BG they should remain hidden from view. 

    We can keep talking about AW50, MK1de but as you last reply shows they have no intent of changing this any time soon. Sad that a game that once needed aim and skill descended into everyone using a 1 hit kill weapon.

    I agree other than famas shouldn't be the strongest weapon for assault, there should be good balance so you can use many weapons without them just being worse versions of others, you mentioned Korean WR version of AW50f, they also have balanced stats for Famas (+9% recoil, -10% accuracy) which makes it so that its still good close range and useable medium range but way more balanced, people complain about famas as well but with these stats it would be fair weapon and people could stop complaining.

    That damage is still too much, it doesn't make sense, Pargona_East will get some anti-airs in bases soon as well so it helps against base campers.

    And well my reply shows that they have something in mind, or that they have been informed by dream execution that weapon balance patch is coming, we will see soon I think.
