HGMs are HGMs already?

I have just seen Lavish in-game and I noticed that he does not have the [HGM] tag, and two doubts came to me:
1. Has there been a problem with HGM and they will take other ones?
2. Are they GM already but the tag doesn't appear or they will officially become HGM on July 21st?

    Good questions.

    Odds are, as v0nn mentioned in another thread, that HGM tools may not be released to Vertigo by DE, and thus not yet released to the HGMs by Vertigo. HGM tools like spectating, announcements, etc.

    It could be that if special characters were not allowed during registration for usernames, that specially made accounts need to be created for the HGMs, and the IT person to do that hasn't yet. (Either that, or they'll use the accounts they have and rename when possible.)

    It is possible that Lavish is just a name someone created for fun, knowing the community is upset about the last account to use that name.
    Much needed features on a forum
    1. A spoiler tag or otherwise collapsible element.
    2. More flexible tabling.
    3. Not being forced to sign out.
    4. Quoting buttons.
