[The List] Scammers / Cheaters / Bad-Sports

Well, someone did mention it. So why the heck not?

Welcome to The List!

This thread will be exclusively made for players to post people that have scammed them, cheated cheated them, or had in their party only to loot all the gear despite warnings.

Because unfortunately, we still have those kinds of jackasses in our community.

Here's how you expose the undesirables:

In the comment section below, describe what happened, then post their IGN and any alts you make know of theirs. As well as evidence of the scam. 

A screen shot should do, showing the individual obviously avoiding you after the incident.

Remember! You must show proof, or you might and up on the list too for spreading fake information.


This is a great example of how to expose a bad-sport. 

If you have any other people you wish to report, please add them to the list so others can know!

Note: I understand the cons of this list, but I'm hoping the lot of you will have the common sence to understand the difference between Hard Evidence and Speculation.

    You're such an idiot, Ash. Don't bring out dirt in public, deal with it in private or send a support ticket if you have proof on hackers or cheaters. Making a "list" of people who allegedly did something like scam or cheat will only make things worse, it's not like creating false proof is that hard. Drop this thread and let GMs deal with cheaters. 
    Also, if you get scammed it's on you, the game clearly says you should be trading with trade option etc, etc.

    Also you cant really blame people for getting scammed in leeches or having people screw them over in parties.

    I wouldn't go so far as the other guy, but I am inclined to agree this thread mightn't the best idea overall... scamming is an issue to be sure; always is but the forums aren't a regularly-checked thing for a majority of the midgame+-level playerbase. The thing is, the forums are kind of a first point of contact and guidance for new players in the main. I am concerned that this could end up as a place full of vitriol which sits near the front of the forums, making the community - while it has its problems to be true - seem much worse than it actually is. I suspect most of the benefits of this kind of hard(ish) record of ne'er-do-wells wouldn't apply for new faces checking the game out; it's useless to them but gives a bad first impression, and it won't have that much visibility for the kind of people it's relevant to who have chars strong enough to sell services.

    On the other hand, it is a disappointment in that these kind of misdemeanours are outside the scope of the ToS, so they're not enforcible by staff unless scammers of either side are abusing others or hacking the game or something as they do so. It's pretty obvious why they're omitted - the support system would instantly be awash in tit-for-tat tickets where it'd be very difficult to discern beyond a doubt who was purely in the wrong, or if someone were trying to manipulate the situation: ain't no GMs got time for that. But yeah, I do see the need for a solution, just not sure this is it.

    That guy told me he was a girl but when we got to Belos Inn he had revealed his true gender to me. Very upset.

    I don't encourage scamming among the guild or the community they get thrown out instantly.

    Ash is always wrong! We need better,smarter moderators that can actually spell, and not waste there time with other things. I just wish some people stop acting autistic
