A few tips for Papaya Play

Hi, I used to play warrock actively about 4-5 years ago, and every 1-2 years I check out the forums just to see whats going on. I'll try to make this as short and sweet as possible.
Around 5 years ago (maybe more, can't really remember), warrock used to have A LOT more players than it has in the past few years. In my opinion the reason this game started going down hill is because they removed one of the best parts of the game, which was the clan system (warrock ops). Even though it had problems with occasional glitches and hacking teams, it was extremely fun to use it to scrim with other clans, and for the most part it wasn't ruined like hackers. We had a dedicated server for clan wars, people could use CUSTOM clan avatars, the interface was nice, ect.
For some stupid reason the developers decided to remove it and kept promising us a new clan system saying it would come "soon". "Soon" was in about 1.5-2 years and they came out with one of the most pathetic clan systems I've ever seen (not going to explain why). By this point most players were either already on the verge of quiting or had already quit due to the fact there was no point in playing the game. It was all just boring public matches. This created a positive feed back loop in which players started quiting because their friends had quit.
Believe it or not back when warrock ops still existed the NA_EAST sever had a ton of people on it.
I know I'm going to get people claiming that ESL is where all the real skill is at, but at the end of the day most people will not go out of their way to follow ESL's rules. Warrock ops was already heavily integrated into the game.
If you want to develop a player base, I suggest you do some research on how to make a good clan system (use warrock ops as an example), and don't focus on trying to sell guns with new promotions every week like Nexon did.
Just my 2 cents.
Good luck with the game Papaya
