So what you're suggesting is just keep things the way they are? If they add a ping limit it's pretty much kicking NA/SA players out. If things stay exactly the same EU players get a big advantage or NA/SA players with 0 bars...
Doing nothing isn't a smart option unless the end goal is to collect as much money as possible while the game dies, which we already saw Nexon do.
@nuffi I'd rather play with 10 people than find myself playing with 50 laggers. Although this suggestion was infact calculated with more players after the steam launch, so if there were more players in the future, this would be the best solution in my eyes. Whether we'll have more than 10 rooms soon or not, this change would still be better than keeping the game in this insupportable and unsatisfying state.
Those "more players in the future" are a sweet dream. Warrock will never again have as much players as during the G1 times or even as Nexon took over. There were multiple servers and they were empty. All players tried to join and joined that one full server.
As i said yesterdays, just have a look at the number of active rooms during prime time in europe. Even if those numbers are doubled they do not justify multiple regional servers.
Just wake up. There are no millions waiting for Warrock to be launched. There are no thousands considering to return when the game is released because they know that releasing a game on steam does not turn it into a new game. It still is the game they left after countless years of being fooled and disappointed.
Warrock is dying because it is running out of players and creating multiple separated communities leads to nothing but multiple small groups that each are too few to attract new players. Nobody wants to wait for ages to see his room slowly fill up, nobody wants to wait for hours because the only ones who want to play the same map are waiting on other servers.
And even if those masses join the game. What do they find? A game f*cked up enough to loose the vast majority of it's players. Despite all the changes: Warrock is still not in the condition to attract AND keep new players.
Want a proof? Warrock was schelduled to join steam last november. This of course was not a spontanious idea. Did Warrock join Steam in november? No, it did not.
Awesome job to consider a game fit for being released on steam when you need additional months to get into a decent shape. Looks pretty much like poor planing if your schedule get's f*cked by "serveral new problems".
And all of us know that Warrock still has an aweful lot of problems to be taken of. Do you really believe that a game like that will be able to keep new players? Do you honestly think warrock has changed enough to make those who lost faith and hope to return and stay?
Sorry, but new servers and a even more sparated community is the last thing Warrock needs.
Well, never said it will be the old WR again, so I couldn't care less about those problems which will never get fixed, I'm not living in a dream world, I know how vulture companies work. So I focus on the ones that possibly can get fixed, f.e. the fucking lag.

I don't understand what solution you are proposing, Nufiii. Warrock is dying/dead and just let it be, while other believe that there actually could be some sort of revival with proper servers. WR is an old game but their are older games still going strong. This game hasn't had a host that actually cared about improving the issues with it until Papaya, they did something to take care of the hackers, and supposedly the OVC. The main issue now is the lag, when PH players came in they added a server, now the laggers are mainly the NA/SA players but they refuse to help those players out at all. I know for a fact that most if not all NA/SA players would like their own server, and it's possible that at if EU server is low on rooms they'd join NA and vice versa. It's not crazy to think that a game with proper servers, and almost no hackers can't get a player base going. It's a challenging game with very good dynamics that keeps people playing, and manages to retain players even with so many issues in the past.
Also I believe the steam launch was delayed due to the EAC system not working properly and needing manual install. I could be wrong, but I believe that's what was discussed on discord.

i just played AI rush game zombies run in 1 place, then sudenly we all died, respawn coin we all die again, vip kid did spawn us 4 times before turk RQ and problem solved no more lag no more die and easy win!
Playing a game making nice score we was wining turk joined enemy side, and from 20 amo 19 not register on enemy, no problem before 1 shoot 1 kill, turk joined 3-4 max clip 1 kill. My full team exited leaving me in 1 vs 6, i got 2 turk also one of them making game fairplay with his speed hack and rapid rpg we was wining again WTFFF
All none turk exited enemy side 3-1 XD
Enemy turk asking other turks join him one of them did but hacker f ed him up :) so he RQ, enemy turk again ask my turk join his side he left but not come back so enemy turk also left.
Wasted 9 min got no exp no dinar no kill count as usual.
Second run killing again enemy team turk again join and game died, he was like immortal saying "JUST LAGGGG"
K1A1 tank + 2 kid with rockets VS turk who also has K1A1 tank
I fired 5 rocket with tank on him + gun overheated + both ally was shooting him flash and rpg VS him taking out my footsoldiers then shoot my tank with 2 rocket no amo........ All 4 of us died XD
3th run 2-0 in first 1 min with 12 amo then turk joined instant lag started shooted 14 amo clip with no kill XD
He took a tank as did i shooted him 4 times with rocket + amo before he turn around shoot on each other 2-2 rocket we both died :)
How the hell turk damage 75% with 1 rocket????????? while i damaged 100% on him with 6 rocket + overheated tank gun???????
Turk hack and lag! Why dont GM team make 1 server just for them? and rest of us can have 1 other server turk and lag free?????
Ban all turk or give them a private server make wr great again!
If the server is in the US then the German players will not receive priority in connecting to the server. The server since nexon and nexon2 located in a small German town near Luxembourg
