Market Place

Hello to all,

I am here to bring a suggestion for WarRock.

It is a truth that a lot of people have bought a lot of permanent guns and now they have some which are not used by them. Owing to this, they lack of inventory spaces and they decide to delete certain permanent guns, which is a pity if you asked me.

In order to prevent people losing so much money, why not creating a market in Warrock where you can sell permanent guns for WRCash. The amount of cash given does not have to be the same as the price of the guns, since it would be a completely ruin for Papaya Play Company.

Some people would say that this will never be implemented because Papaya Play will lose money, and that is not their aim. However, I consider that they will not lose money. They will simply earn a bit less. In addition, they are a company that earns a lot of money, specially from WarRock, and I think it is far more preferable (since the do not lose money) than players losing money (because we have spent that money on weapons we delete).

This way,  players would be shown that money is not the priority for this newest company and its reputation would increase, something which is really and undeniably needed for WarRock, a game that has been ruined by Nexon, who did not care about anything but money.

I would like to know what you guys think about this. Leave a comment!

I don't know how you could use up inventory space - aren't there inventory expansion PX items?

"However, I consider that they will not lose money. They will simply earn a bit less." -- earning less than is possible is like losing money, corporations consider projected revenue as part of their future budget, and if that revenue falls short, it's a loss of money to them because it impacts their budget.

I completely disagree. I think that they should really consider this idea. It is true that they will "lose money", but we have to admit that prices are quite a bit high and it is senseless to have some expensive weapons in your inventory for decoration only. I think they should make up their minds since this is the first game where I see such expensive guns which are afterwards nerfed. That is a real loss of money from us, players.

They will lose money, thats not how business works.

You have inventory expansions and can store them. I think we should be allowed a bigger inventory especially after everything nexon sold.

I will give out a great example showing that they will NOT lose money. In fact, they will be able to get more:

Just imagine a player, let's think about a teenager (a great amount of them are playing this game), he bought M4A1_Christmas for permanent. It was quite hard, since he does not receive any money from work, he simply studies, all he gains is what their parents give him (if he is given something). Suddenly, there has been released a new offer, a F2000_Acu Package (for e.g.) and it costs 2500WRCash. The M4A1 costed 2999WRCash, and this package included some PX Items and RPG_7_Christmas. However, our teenager does not have much money, he only disposes of 15€ and this package is far more expensive. Nevertheless, there is a great Market Place in-game where he is able to get some WRCash from his guns. He has just found out that he will get 500WRCash from its M4A1 (only 500WRCash because he will still have the RPG_7_Christmas and the PX Items he had by then). Oh!, he now has to pay less, and the F2000 package is more likely to be bought. Now he would dispose of 15€ + 500WRCash = 2000WRCash, he only needs 5€ more. Now, he may get that money in a shorter time, or maybe their parents give him something since it is the 50% less of the amount he was asking for.

This way, not only will more disfortuned players be likely to buy things and do something is this P2W game, but also Papaya Play will get the money they would have never got if it had not been for the facilities they gave to those players.

Taking all of this into account, I extremely defend the idea of a Market Place. More veteran players (who are working and earning money) will obviously disagree, they are able to buy whatever whenever they want. But for the youngest players, it is not that easy, so why not offering them some help?

I can see what you're saying but it just wouldn't work.

I am not saying whether it would work or not (totally respecting your answer). What I am saying is that there are certain things that should be seriously taken into consideration. WarRock is a game where things are quite expensive, and it is senseless to force teenagers, their main players, to buy such expensive things constantly. I can say that teenagers get a permanent gun and they will not pretend to buy any other one due to its price. We are not made of gold and it is well-known. I am just saying that this suggestion might seem to be a bad idea for a company, but I want to stand out that it is NOT that bad. The example I have just given reflects it in such a good and direct way. I am sure that if any admin read this would probably agree at certain point and disagree at another point, but this is not a excuse not to try to implement this thing in the game and see how it works. If after setting up a Market Place Papaya Play notices they are losing money, it would have to be deleted, but they will actually earn far more if they gave it a try. This Market Place could be actually "imaginary", during the testing period, it could be simply a "Submit a ticket saying what you want, etc" or something like that, to avoid adding a patch with this newest thing.

What I can say, in order to open Papaya Play eyes, is that from each 1 player that sees a package of 3000WRCash and think of buying it, there are around 3 or more, who do not like one gun and are missing only 10€ to buy it. Let's use Maths: 3000WRCash x 1 = 3000WRCash (30€)
                                                                          2000WRCash* x 3 = 6000WRCash (60€)

*If a help of 1000WRCash was given they would only have to pay 20€ each.

I do consider that the difference is much higher.

    I like your idea,
I wouldn't think they will entirely "lose" money in this case.
Maybe they will gain a little more, such as within the market place in-game, when an item is posted for sale, and it is being sold, maybe PapayaPlay take 10% interested for the sale.
This way, all of them win. Seller gained some WRC, buyer able to purchase a gun of his choice for cheap, Papaya gained the 10% of the sale!

    @Sodukin

Yea but papaya doesn't need the 10% of WR Cash it's a virtual currency only what they will do with it?
But I like the idea I just don't think it's possible but who knows :D
