I was speaking with another person reaching endgame recently – and quite a few people are close to that – and the topic of Abio Cokes came up. A question that always came up when discussing Abio Cokes is this: why must we gamble for them?

For high leveled instance dungeons, abios are a must for survival. However, due to them being difficult to obtain, many players – including myself – have come to the conclusion that using Potions of Resurrection is actually cheaper than trying to gamble for Abio Cokes. When in dungeons, there are very few options for healing; when it comes to classes that don't specialize in kiting or dealing damage, it becomes an even greater struggle.

I wanted to see just how many Abio Cokes I could get the other day, so I bought 60 Seres boxes. Out of the 60 I bought, I obtained a mere 20 Abio Cokes. Twenty Abio Cokes doesn't last long, and I'm sure many veteran players can attest to that.

Eris, I would like to hear what you and the team think about the Abio Coke situation. Personally, I think it's ridiculous that we have to gamble for an item that is extremely valuable at end game. If they're bound to your character, sure, I'm all for that, but having to gamble for them as well is a bit much. However, this is my opinion. Some people will agree and others will disagree – we're all entitled to our own views. That being said, I would also like to read what the rest of you think about the current state of Abio Cokes.

    Why just not make them buyable from npcs but for a lot of money ? Or any other way like reputation item or smth ? For now I am fine cause I got plenty from events, but if they will run out (and they will) I am pretty much screwed.

    Maybe not a substitute for real end game but I was reminded recently that you can get 4 different title books that are useable for healing in Monster Tower.

    I'm not a fan of farming for things just to farm for other things but as a free player I'm willing to put up with it.  Something similar for the coke/sodas would be really nice.

    But those books arent usable in mostly all dungeon SeiwusCat and the drop rate is pretty low,

    You can get 15 free abio cokes with random quests guys! you need 10 Silver Peppers, nothing more, and you can get more thing too, you have to check some npc and other thing a little more :P

    10 silver peppers for 15 abio cokes - what a steal. To be fair, there are quite a number of items missing from this version that I'm assuming will be implemented at a later time once the majority of players reach a certain level of competency.

    @merelypringles I'd rather voice my concerns now that later. It's pretty annoying doing dungeons and having to kite because all available pots have what. 10 ~ 15-second cooldowns? It's just getting really old really fast. Haha. Of course, it's just forcing us to be more mindful of what we use and how we do dungeons in the mean time. So I guess there is some good in it?
