i5 3570k oc at 4.2 ghz
970 gtx
8gb ram

is there a frame cap in this game ? i remember it was a lot more smoother back in the day.

    Go update ur graphics drivers. Run the game as admin! will fix the skipping but not the stupid disconnecting problem.

    I also find updating my graphic drivers when they come out resolves the fps issues if i have it.
