About cheaters and tickets

I'd like to know how do you investigate if a player is a cheater based off a player's ticket.
Suppose I want to report a cheater. Now, most of the cheaters around use OVC and GPS, which can't really be screened or recorded on video as proof. Fortunately, according to the FAQ, screenshots and videos are not required to send a ticket. Yet, without them, how do you decide if that player is actually a cheater?

    OVC can be recorded easily (nades, defuse & plant time, faster walking etc). GPS is a hard one to catch if someone know how to hide it properly.
    They will not ban a player without evidence. They will just spectate him or ask for evidence.

    So, if necessary, they can find evidence themselves? How many days could it realistically take for the Technical Support to find evidences (and supposedly ban) since they receive the ticket vs if the ticket has enough evidences?

    They could do it, but really I doubt it. Chances to catch them are really low. It can take weeks or months. Depends on them. My advice is to PM HGM on discord or ingame.

    Hey @JohnDoom ,

    As others have said, we won't give out exactly how we catch cheaters but like others have mentioned-

    Recorded UNEDITED video should be enough for overclockers and hackers. There are things that we can use to base our investigations on.

    We do NOT ever ban without solid evidence.
