WarRock Ironman mode / 'Hard Mode' account

Hey,

I also play some other games, one of these games is oldschool runescape. On this game you can play with a regular account or an 'ironman account'. This ironman account is basically a harder mode of the game (on this game a normal ironman mode can't use the bank, which makes some skills harder to train then normal accounts)


I think it would be cool to make such kind of mode also for WarRock, with rules different then when you create a normal account for example:

Ironman Mode WarRock: Only using standard weapons (example rules)

You can create different forms of rulesset, but you get my point.

If you then create that kind of account you are shown ingame with a red name for example, so people can recognize that you are an 'WarRock iron man account'

It would be cool if this can also be introduced to WarRock somehow.

    Players like yourself, who treat this game like an MMORPG in which gaining levels and collecting items are the priorities, have already done enough damage to the competitive side of the game.

    If you want to play an MMORPG, then go play one, but this is a first person shooter so can we please keep it that way?

    Yea, because competitive is the only form all the people play ^^, there are different stages of players and different opinions. I think it's a great idea for some players that likes that kind of playstyle

    Hi @buffon73 ,

    I would like to start off by saying I know of, and flat out, absolutely love the idea of implementing a similar type of account option into WarRock.

    Now, there are many factors that affect how and when this can happen. Something I can say forsure, when the time is right, we will see what can be properly done. Something like this can not be released as a "joke" and could be something of great value if done in a correct TIME and manner. Also takes communication from all sides of the spectrum. It IS a possible thing though and seeing the light of it I'd be hyped to stand back and watch in awe as it comes to an active, strong WarRock community.

    Maybe even as a "simpler" idea for short-term, there could be like a badge relevant to your K/D that as long as you still have the ratio above a certain rate, you have access of displaying. Just some possible brainstorms but the bigger picture would look great with the offical game account as like just default weapons or something. 

    This is not necessarily an MMORPG move, but it would be if there was like an economy or item claiming type leveling but in WarRock, theres just your one level and your guns. I like this idea of a recognized, harder account.
