Baby steps for WarRock!

Now that we have Papaya play as the new owner of WarRock EU, there are things that needed to be change.

-What papaya play needs to do before planning to do a server upgrade is to advertise the game itself, just to get more players into the server. Advertising is one of the key to attract players into the game. The more players, more money, more action, and effort by papaya play.

-To maximize WarRock's potential, papaya play needs to change the interface, and concept of WarRock into something friendly user. There are no guides or steps to play the game, there should be a guide that helps new players to understand the game better.

-Remove premium features, and give it as a free feature, why? Most players just can't afford at all.
-Make all guns permanent purchased through dinar, and sell skins for certains guns and boxes and keys. Just like CS:GO. In that way, you'll make more money, and players will make money out of it as well(Which means more players to come)
-Map rework(Remove buggy walls) it equates to less pussy plays.
-Remove SP5%, and SP15% this way there won't be Flash!
-Educate players about "Internet" and the "Game" itself.
-Learn from the last holder of the game.

That's all, thank you!

Is it a bankruptcy plan for Papaya Play?

BTW. Last point gave me cancer. I really wanted Nexon to take over WarRock in 2011 and the next year that happened, but what they did to this game was a disgrace of the highest order. There's nothing to learn from a company that doesn't care about players, brings tons of overpowered weapons just to make money whilst not caring about amount of potential players, but money. Of course, money is what company goes for, but there are way better methods to do it.

The best way to encourage OLD community to come back is bringing the balance WarRock lost under Nexon. Many old school players are coming back as Papaya announced some balance patches but that's not enough, we need more implementations on overclocking and hacking issues.

Also, personally if I put myself in new players' shoes I would freak out after playing 2-3 games and quit forever as the range of skills between newcomers and half experienced players is beyond compare.
I would suggest putting on the server for begginers only, for example two detached servers for level range of 1-20 and 21 - 31, since the leveling nowadays is pretty fast. Of course, there always will be some experienced players who make sub accounts to have an easier game against begginers but the amount of new players on such server would be very high and at least they would have a chance to adapt to the game as well.
As far as I noticed the ratio between old players and newcomers is like 95:5 nowadays, that's why Papaya Play needs to do something that would be beginner friendly.

"Is it a bankruptcy plan for Papaya Play? "

This made me giggle as I had exactly the same thought. It's a free game, it relies on microtransactions. That being said, I don't agree with "premium" weapons being locked for paying players only. At the same time, I don't think cosmetics alone would satisfy the community. That obviously depends on the quality, though.

As for "learn from the last holder of the game" I sure hope he means learn from their mistakes.

@jashlliane7 Before they advertise the game however, they have to do bunch of fixes and improvements, like some of the stuff you said, lag etc. making the game free2win. also balancing and bug fixing.

And you talk about walls but its really the lean that brings the worst bugs, thats what you gotta fix, well I guess making the walls so that you cant look trough them is important too but its not as bad.

@hiddenly well general balance and improvements will help about old vs new players, like invertlean, op vehicles, pay2win, all those things really turn new players away, level limit server together with kd limit might be good, sure that might get abused too but not as much as old players making new accounts for sure, also proper tutorials etc.

@sheepisland There is a lot more things to be sold that aren't pay2win other than cosmetics, like they could sell all weapons and px items for dinar and cash, together with level limits where say. players could buy mp7a1 at level 20 but if they want to use it before, they could buy it with cash regardless of level, this kind of system would be proper "free2win" but also would make some money, you could have level limited items and weapons up to 30 level for example. as its reasonable.

But this have been discussed in other threads already, I recommend looking trough some older big threads that have a lot views if you want to hear more about that, especially my threads.
