WarRock will never be Free To Play...

...Because this game has not been F2P since early 2008 (January/February).

At first, you might find that date very odd. It's not the date of the official launch. Actually, it coincides with an important update from K2. An update which, in my opinion, changed the future of WarRock. Some fundamental weapons (famas, g36, psg1, ai_aw) stopped being available to standard  (F2P) users.

Until the arrival of that update, premium membership offered lots of things (more exp, dinars, 5th slot and relative weapons, etc), but these advantages weren't cutting the F2P players off the game.

Another big issue was the permanent lag, which popped out right after the end of the Beta period.

Lots of players invested money, time and hopes, believing in K2 first, then G1 and finally Nexon. Needless to say... Nothing changed and... After 10 years, these two little issues are still open. Things got even worse, due to the introduction of 'flashbangs', 'ta mines', 'fast reload', 'costumes' and crap like that. They took the money and never faced the real problems of the game (does anybody remember how many times we've seen 'cheaters with opk'?)

At the time, we were more than happy when we understood that K2 was stepping back. But both G1 and Nexon persisted with the same behavior of K2.

And... What about Papayaplay? Well... Indeed, they've just released a new item shop and it still contains 20/30 pay2win items... So... They aren't acting differently.

Face it guys... WarRock is not, has never been, and will never be free to play. These three words are there just for advertising.

If you really want a change... Just stop spending money, stop downloading and stop playing WarRock. There certainly are other projects which are worth your money, your efforts and your time.

Sorry if I'm a bit rude but this is my opinion and it's 100% based on my experience regarding this game, which was a promising product, but has been permanently ruined by money.
