Before any hgm will want to close thread READ IT CAREFULLY. It's not about visual default items duration
After update some people got effected by "new stupid retail system" (mostly p90 retails accs )
So ... This is the case

In this image you can see "new retail system". Basically everything needs 8th slot to work. I understand my k1 gold, but rest? WTH is this? I'm not gonna buy 8th every month just too use med kit 2 retail ... Some ppl without 8th slot see their retail like this now:

Fix that or give us perm 8th slots ...

    No, this isn't the case. Once your 8th slot expires the item that is supposed to be in slot 8 (for older NX accounts P90 for example, or M60, or medic kit 2) will automatically equip. Here is an example of an account right now that has no 8th slot item:

    If you try to unequip the item you will get this message:
