Callisthenes here... thought I would make an account and show my support for the new game company.

SO the big question... is there a wipe and how many ships and items can we bring over...

    I hope they initially start by dragging everything over as it is, from then on they can start modding some things when they notice players are requesting so...

    I usually hope for the worst, or maybe mediocre at best, so I'm never disappointed, but I'm going to try your suggestion this time!

    if they wipe it will reduce the number of acccount on the server and u would have a better judge of actual player count rather then transfering accounts over enmasse

    If wiping gives them a more representative overview of the actual amount of players, It would be a cut in their funds. Lots of multi-account players invest in both/ all their accounts. So I am not sure if it is going to be an intresting thing for Papaya to do, since it somehow ensures the future of UWO. Beside playing multiple accounts is just part of how UWO is played.

    I read a lot so far here on banning the multi accounts for the most diverse reasons and there are a lot of good arguments there. Cases such as players abusing these account to fund their main character one way or another by figuring out tricky, unfair, cheaty,... actions using multiple accounts should be sanctioned indeed. I hate that type of UWO-rapers as well! 
    But on the other hand there are arguments such as stockage, multiple family members who play the game using the same IP, Making lvling faster while they have a hard social life aside playing UWO, ... these are to me more than important reasons to allow it. It makes the game so much more fun and it is the only way for a certain group of players to enjoy the game while they have limited time to play.

    However, I don't think we are going to find the solution to this issue here on the forum, especially not by the nonconstructive way some ppl are trying to make their point(s). We can just hope for the best there will be a balanced, democratic solution on a longer term...
