same email and username on OGPlanet and on Papaya

After having created an account on Papaya, I was told that this might cause issues with transferring my account from OGPlanet, as I have used the same username and email address as I had on OGPlanet. I would like to know if this is true, and if so, what can I do to correct my mistake? This account is the one I have my main character on, so it is extremely important to me that everything goes according to plan (whatever that plan is) with my account transfer.
