The Person Behind The IGN

Somchai here.

I've been reading many of the post and comments over the past few days and thought i would add one of two of my own.

Now i keep hearing a lot about "for the good of the community", "to make the new ones feel welcome" or "to bring back the spirit of the good old days" .... Now i'm all for that. And although i'm fairly new to the game and maybe don't have great and knowledgeable input in world chat...i am active in world chat daily. 

It would be nice for some of those campaigning for massive changes to be seen in world chat too, then we can all get to know each other a little better too. 

But the point of this thread is to introduce myself and tell a little about myself and i hope that others will post on here and do the same. 

About me:

My real name is Steven and i am 34 years old and live in Manchester in the UK.

I am self employed which allows me to be flexable with my working time. So sometimes you may see me online at different times per week, or maybe on some days i can be on for most of the day.7

Why UWO?:

I actually played this game about 7/8 years ago. Im not sure on the date but my friend started it when it was just released and quickly got me involved.

I did the school, i remember having to sail back and forth to collect those pigs for the advanced merch quest. I had no clue about po2's back then....and it was definitely more than 300 pigs for sure!

But i think at that time i was younger and ended up seeing a girl and got distracted and left the game.

However recently i remembered about the game and just made a new account to try it out and got hooked. What i love about it now is its honesty and choice of game play. In this era when i compare it to all the super violent games available this game is just such a refreshing change. 

So my hope is the game continues to progress and that we are given reason to stick around.
