Why does everyone love uwo?

I would like everyone to list why they like uwo. I will start: I like uwo because it teaches the geography of the world and general history.

    HELL WTF AM I DOING HERE (I love this game but not sure why... maybe because of community? I allways met with good people :D)

    I almost forgot to mention, I also enjoy setting my bazaar and selling items while doing nothing involved with the open sea what so ever. Chatting Merchant chat and World chatters is fun too..

    I get a feeling of nostalgia because of my days playing the original Uncharted waters on the NES.  And whats even more spectacular is that the game really hasnt changed from its base, just alot more stuff added to it:)

    I see the relation between this UWO and the NES version, in this Version here it looks as if Papaya just hit that RESET button...

    I hate sea, I can't swim, I'd pick mountains rather than sea/beach for vacation.

    why I like this game?
    I'm a big fan of uncharted waters: new horizon's on snes. played hundreds of hours on that one
    1. love the characters (Catalina Erantzo ftw!!)
    2. love their stories
    3. trying new ships, from barca, light galley, to venetian galleass, invest in japan for tekkousen, or build a full-rigged ship!! :D
    4. adventuring on villages, bribing the locals to find discoveries
    5. hunt pirates!! khayr ad-din, ulgu ali, you're mine!!
    6. great music (yup, even back then)
    7. I learnt lots of geography, history, even biology from the game

    now imagine that kinda master piece, remade bigger and in 3D.
    I know it's not the best graphics in 2017, but it's not always bout the graphics right?
    I used to just "stick a flag" on land areas, but now I could actually explore it on feet? how can I skip this game?? no effing way :D

    because it's MMO.
    with... UWO has a good community(which is rare for gaming community nowadays) and good features to encourage interacting with other people.
    leads to good socializing experience.
    And the game is interesting enough

    uncharted water made me learn geography as well as history and to know the ports in the world the busiest trading and least visited ..... and culture and food and animals and clothes and shops wow..... thank you uncharted waters ---jaysherwinareno
