So I’m writing this presuming we will not have a server wipe.

My battle toon I’m grinding is around 26/48/36

I’ve been grinding melee constantly but want to do some cannon and evasion grinds and also have a decent but cheap ship for battle and with good dura.

I hear TLG can be a decent grinding battle ship.

Can it be spec’d for battle?
What mods can it have?
Bullet proof armour?
Improved sails?

And any idea of the price?

Thank you all for your help.
Also if there is a better ship that I don’t know of please feel free to advise me.

    My battle toon is 72/85/84, TLG is good for battle cause it can be iron built from shipyard with decent dura, it has high crew for that level but only 4 cannon slots.  Its great started battle ship, but also the school ships are always looked over. One of the faster ships in teh game is the grad samburk, over 440V with EA. The graduation frigate i grinded in until leel 50 in the carribean.  and heres why the wipe will help people like you.  When server starts new, ur going to have your pay2play players. So all the cash items will be available from the beginning, but no one can afford 20m/ea price, so they'll be as low as 5m or 10m each. So with just a little bit of dungeon running or short trade runs within EU u'll be able to mod ur ship  vs having to spend 130m just for the ssip's.

    @PiesRats Thanks for the input. would you recommend getting one built or do a WTB in merch chat to see if someone is selling a mod'd one?

    As regards the wipe. if i choose i can be a pay to play. i prefer to do what i can through hard work, but i also don't have to miss out if i don't want to. Personally i would prefer to keep my toons. For me time is more valuable than money, and i don't want to repeat the time grinding the same skills again. But i guess we just don't share the same view on that one.

    You probably want to take a look at uwotool.com, if you are going to try and look beyond the base numbers for any ship.
