Hello there,

As i'm sure you might have realised the news of a complete reset has been met with some disapointment.
My suggestion on how to make the compensation attractive, is give an Astro/NC ship proportional to the levels.
 So for example, if one had 70/70/70 give them an astro ship for each class. Etc.
I will continue even if for only a small amount of time. BUt if I stay, the uwo wikia will continue being run to it's current level.

    This almost feels like we have been stolen from. OGP have sold us a product (Astro's) to the last moment of the game closing and now everything we paid for has been deleted.

    OGP and PAPAYA are the real pirates in this game. 

    I'll receive next to nothing as my time and money used was nothing compared to you vets.

    But still for the short time i played i spent a lot of both time and money. 

    If they give out ships now depending on levels the game will be even more unbalanced.

    but i understand why you would want it jazzmin.

    To clarify, you may not continue to play and there is a chance the UWO wiki site may go down?

    The game will be unbalanced in general. Simply because of the fact the few vets that remain, know all the tricks, know where to go. Etc.
    The ships would mean that some of us wouldn't feel so betrayed when we lose our 30 billion ships and stuff. :p
    However, I'll try and stay and keep my motivation.

    The Wikia will stay up. I'll just find another player to hand the head adminship over to.

    I will definately stay if there is a large influx of newbies. SO I can continue helping the community.
    However, I wouldn't bet on getting much money from me as I'll spend it on other more worthwhile games.

    It would be nice for people who have invested a lot in the past to get some astro trade ships like clippers, no need to give out top tier battleships though.

    Im just gonna full on maritime and forget about any type of money...just maritime and be poor. whats the point of storing money anyway when it can be taken in seconds.

    im gonna pirate in SO battle galley and never be able to afford to upgrade so in no time ill be farmed by all the BH.......

    oh wait how will i pirate? all the decent pirate skills are in cities i won't have unlocked xD

    I have a company to see if I can salvage, not sure if it's gonna be worth the effort at this point. These people will not get one penny from me though. I got suckered once, never again.

    Personally, I would be happy with a Modified Long Schooner, Expedition Tea Clipper and a Ambush Vaisseau/Festive Ironside just enough to keep me interested and allow me to get my skills up again.

    I've spent about $200 on draftkings in the last year or so and I have nothing to show for it. Still not complaining, I had fun. But on UWO at least I get some founder rewards for my past efforts, whatever those are.

    I am against any compensation whatsoever. If you start from the beginning, then on equal terms. More experienced players so have a colossal advantage

    They already announced that OGP players will receive Founder Rewards even though they didn't say about list of rewards ,but they intend to announce on that later.

    They'll never be happy until all vets are banned from the game permanently and only accept new players.

    All we can do is wait and see, nothing to do about it... as long as they make the game better balanced and bring back nostalgic fun as once before, it's all fine to me...

    I will restart playing on this server... as boring as repeating the same storyline may be.  What will also happen, is that Papaya will see no more than a drop of money from me... and what would be a wholly enthusiastic community supportive player... will instead become silent and dead in terms of contribution.  

    There is no reason they could not make their sweeping changes and honored true transfers also.  We are not stupid.

    To all,

    Reset will not change the economy.
    Dekaron used to be called 2moon back then when i played before the revamp.
    Now, economy in there is as hell few hundred times more expensive than it used to be.
